As a Blazers fan, I have this to say: Blazers are one of the best teams in the league at blowing leads, and the warriors at coming back from deficits (especially in the 3rd quarter!)

Since you're asking for suggestions, could be cool if you used sports graphics like arrows or circles ala Madden to help explain your points (I've seen most of your vids but still don't really understand "horns." Don't know your editing situation, but I've noticed you constantly upping your game and it's been fun to see you grow. Side note - I prefer the old music but love the testing of new stuff. This stuff is too relaxed for such an intense playoff situation and maybe testing is best left to the reg season (screw me though - it's your show and I'm watching regardless). Love ya coach.

One thing that would help is a simple screen flip so they're attaching the same left to right of the screen -- with maybe arrows indicating the difference (so we could see an exact differentiation of the two teams version of defense). All that said -- this is awesome! I've never learned so much about basketball!
Dame regularly torches the Warriors. He usually always shows out against us especially at Oracle. This is the heaviest scheme I've ever seen Kerr draw up for Dame though (even when we swept them in the first round) and it is showing that either 1) Dame cannot make his own in game adjustments and 2) Coach Stotts has no answer for the scheme and 3) Portland doesn't have enough PG/SG depth around CJ and Dame to really counter scheme anything.

Warriors ball makes for fun basketball to watch. However, in the grand scheme of the NBA, the dynasty is probably not ideal for competitiveness. There are quite a number of people who dislike the GSW largely due to its monopolistic behaviour in the NBA, they may not have anything against the way they play.

When I said 'monopolistic behaviour', what I meant is that GS is dominant to the point where it is difficult to compete against them just based on better play alone. In short, GS is the 'full package': a great combination of skilled players, talent, flexible composition, chemistry, consistent coaching, and playoff experience. Note that I did not make an issue out of how the dynasty was built - I still consider it fair game, at least until players intentional take pay cuts to maintain said fortress. And while I can agree that a dynasty doesn't necessarily mean that the league can't be competitive, one has to understand the underlying factors that can impede the ability of other teams to 'keep up'. Even a well-performing team such as the current Bucks can still struggle heavily against GS on the basis of the sheer talent alone (not an excuse but certainly a factor that has to be taken with validity). Also, I'm a GS fan btw. 4:35 Yeah, I was super impressed by Bell. Early in the year, he'd bite on pump fakes and get called for illegal screens like crazy. GSW has a bad reputation for illegal screens (I honestly don't think they used more moving screens than any other team... they just have better shooters, even during 2015/2016 season). So, yeah, as long as Jordan Bell doesn't bite on pump fakes he is an incredible defender and shot blocker. I hope Kerr puts him back into the rotation. I think he's learned his lesson after being forced to sit on the bench the whole year and being suspended for charging a $15 dollar candle to Mike Brown's hotel.

Amusing Follower - Can you elaborate on “monopoly”? I don’t really understand why fans such as yourself can make that kind of claim and accuse GSW of having a “monopoly” when they are playing by the same rules as every other team... why is there this attitude that they should’ve been prevented from being fortunate enough to pick really great Draft picks in Curry, Klay, Green, and a good one in Barnes within a 4 year span and assemble and develop these players who became All Stars... that’s a monopoly? And then they are able to attract a decent free agent in Andre Iguodala for the first time in years, a really good player from another team wanted to come play for the Warriors... how is that a monopoly? Iggy came here because he wanted to. Same with KD. KD could’ve chose any team he wanted. There’s no monopoly... stop perpetuating false narratives. Yes, they built a dynasty, and they’ve been overwhelmingly great and dominant, but the reason people don’t like them is mainly jealousy/ envy, and because they are standing in the way for their team to win a title. It’s only natural for people to start hating the best team. The 90’s Bulls got plenty of that, and so did the Lakers and the Celtics of their different eras.
Contrary to what you assert, having dynasties actually increases the level of competition. Teams have to get better and it makes it a lot more exciting. Those who advocate for parity are just delusional of what competition means... if someone is the best, you have to try to beat them. No whining about things being “unfair” or blah blah blah. If every team was mediocre and was a 50 win team, the league would be boring, and mediocre.
@@jdrive03 First of all, thank you for seeking clarification on what I said. Most people might be quick to jump on certain phrases like these sometimes in an attempt to validate their narrative thereafter.
When I said 'monopolistic behaviour', what I meant is that GS is dominant to the point where it is difficult to compete against them just based on better play alone. In short, GS is the 'full package': a great combination of skilled players, talent, flexible composition, chemistry, consistent coaching, and playoff experience.
Note that I did not make an issue out of how the dynasty was built - I still consider it fair game, at least until players intentional take pay cuts to maintain said fortress.
And while I can agree that a dynasty doesn't necessarily mean that the league can't be competitive, one has to understand the underlying factors that can impede the ability of other teams to 'keep up'. Even a well-performing team such as the current Bucks can still struggle heavily against GS on the basis of the sheer talent alone (not an excuse but certainly a factor that has to be taken with validity).
Also, I'm a GS fan btw.
Edit: Likely, I see the dynasty fading out if KD leaves (which will be a better legacy-maintaining decision for him), or simply when age catches up on the current players with not much new blood coming into GSW.

4:35 Yeah, I was super impressed by Bell. Early in the year, he'd bite on pump fakes and get called for illegal screens like crazy. GSW has a bad reputation for illegal screens (I honestly don't think they used more moving screens than any other team... they just have better shooters, even during 2015/2016 season).
So, yeah, as long as Jordan Bell doesn't bite on pump fakes he is an incredible defender and shot blocker. I hope Kerr puts him back into the rotation. I think he's learned his lesson after being forced to sit on the bench the whole year and being suspended for charging a $15 dollar candle to Mike Brown's hotel.

Blazers had a great season, a lot of people didn’t even have them making the playoffs. They exceeded all expectations.
