Awesome interview. Great to see Chris Berman on with DP. He is a pioneer in the realm of sports television. I remember him from the early 80's and think he has stood the test of time. Here's to not retiring too soon Boomer. Take care.

You ask why would ESPN care who appears on what radio show - well, they do. It's not just Dan's show - it's others as well. You notice only the veterans appear on Dan's show, because they know they've been there long enough so ESPN won't do much. Dan's had many guests on after they leave ESPN and they've said, themselves, that ESPN didn't approve of them doing interviews on his show - or other shows, for that matter. Look it up. It's not hard to find other examples.

I'm sorry but in highlights there is STILL some commentator most times anyway. I haven't heard him do live games but I would rather hear him do it. Like it's not a highlight or primetime if Boomer isn't calling it.
