Can't get over that paint job, it's sick! And BTW, you may want to put some zipties in those caps from the oil injectors, they will have a vacuum leak if they don't seal and makes the engine seem to run lean
I'm stoked for this man! I bet you'll want the gas tank in the front - this is from experience with "too much" horsepower on small aluminum boats heheh.
Great build. .I think you will need to install the ride plate though. That's what controls how she runs in the water. On a ski it's the ride plate that keeps her sitting flat and level on the plane.
Been catching these as you release them. Nice work. I was a little disappointed yesterday when I saw you hadn't done a deep degreasing scrub on the motor. But overall looking forward to your finished product.
I've been thinking about something like for a much larger boat. I've seen all 6 episodes so far, but I've not heard any details as to HP, torque, RPMs, etc. I can see that it's a 4-cylinder engine, but I'm not seeing a brand name on it. I'd be using something more off the shelf like a Harbor Freight, Briggs or Honda. I don't need to hit 45mph, but I would like to understand the relationship between RPMs, boat weight and boat speed.
Might want to brace those motor mounts for support inside the boat. That way if you step on them it don't flex the seam on the bottom of the boat. Otherwise looks great
What do you suggest for someone who wants to have the motor more towards the rear? is there a way to cut the shaft or use a pully to attach the motor to the jet?
I watched the other 3 episodes last night. That paint is so cool! Can’t wait to see it on the water!! Great work!
cant wait for the launch and test runs......been fun to watch..good luck...
So that’s just one more use for those white coolers.
I hope this build is everything you want it to be. Fun watching you mess with it.

It's coming along nicely! Good work.
Dude I've been watching these jet Jon videos and drooling over how awesome this is turning out! When we gonna see the first run on the water??
I can’t wait!I’ll be on pins and needles for this one!👍🏼👍🏼
Getting close, can't wait to see it in action 👍👍
That boat looks good and brand new

I might have to try this sometime!
When I grow up I wanna be just like you catman
What kind of race track you got out there....lol... Really cool build!

Might wanna go 32:1 on that mixture

I was really hoping that this was the day it hit the water
How well does your steering set up work? Is there much resistance on the lever?

Nice video
Man someone was lettin er eat at the very beginning of the video 😅
Great video! What was the oil block off for ? Is it for the oil pressure gauge?
Deletes the oil injection. You just premix the fuel. Did it on my boat motor. Don't trust the oil injection myself.
Deletes oil injection. Then you just premix fuel
The tank and driver on the same side might be too much without a passenger. Otherwise, I'd put it in the front 😊
