Anyone actually surprised that an Aldo Welds' Mustang is running 7's? Like I mean the man is KNOWN for kits that demolish on the street.

Great content in this video. I own a "slow" stock 2011 CTS-V and love it. I used to own "The King of the Hill" 1991 ZR-1. Had so much fun in both, but I realize the new cars, new tech, and new mods are far and away amazing. I'm saving up for a C8 Z06 which might have to make its way to LMR. Thanks for the Vlog!

I just purchased a 2014 C7 Stingray with a centrifugal blower the previous owner had it built from a performance shop located in Sealy Tx, but I'm really enjoying what comes out of your shop ....Great Job LMR i'm really impressed with ya'lls work keep it up !!! Bonkers Mustang runs mid 9s foot brake stock engine stock trans throw 2 turbos at it and a fuel system call it a day at almost 160mph!! Everyone else playing catch up with more $$$ required.
Yeah man those coyotes are impressive. But you won’t ever hear it from the Chevy nut huggers. They pull hard up top. They hurt a lot of feelings on highway pulls. So many people are blinded by brand bias.

@@tylerolson5860 yup 👍. Them 4 valve heads flow enough air to live up high. Not much different than those Honda’s and Mitsubishi 4 bangers running high 6s screaming at 9,000 plus rpms.
@@markball7028 Exactly. Ive contacted 4Piston in the past about doing Coyote head work. I mean its not much different than a Honda Kseries head they are the masters of.

All these cars are capable....some are just set up with more HP. Twin Turbo and a powerglide will make anything fast.

It all depends on where the engine starts making power. In various a lot from one set up to the next. What transmission you are running to how big the cam shaft is, the weight of the car, and gearing. Also is it turbocharged, supercharged, Naturally Aspirated, or a nitrous car. Lots of variables.
These are my favorite kind of drag races real cars you could drive to the track throw on a slick and drive it back home when your done! That’s why I like my GSXS1000 I can hit lap for days and bike couldn’t care less! Like a horse thinking your a fly on its back!

Great content guys! I would like to own that CTS-V! Would it had may a difference if the CTS-V was running more "E" and possibly meth as well as a Kong 2650 blower?
I just put a cam in my ZL1 1LE and ran it 2 weeks and broke the timing chain, What timing chain should I run with 650 double springs. I know the valve train is a lot more noticeable. I think the issue was walking the chain on as the engine was not pulled.

You guys are straight up studs with c7's. Nobody has been as consistent and successful with car and there a lot of big names out there. The only thing that kills me is why does nobody including LMR ever build c7 M7's, only autos . Im sure you do at the shop but never do i see you guys push one to the limit on your channel, nor anyone else. Obviously the autos just work better in these cars and will always be faster w same mods but damn man as an m7 owner im dying to see some 8's and low 9's. Ive lost hope in my car and now thinking going auto. It shouldn't be like that. Give us m7 owners some hope. If anyone can do it , you guys can. FOR REAL

My 98 Camaro Z28 makes 305 whp in Denver Colorado it runs a 14.42 just about ever pass. It's a convertible by the way i've done 3.73 gears hooker dual exhaust and the airbox. Tuned it at a local shop that does amazing but how do i reach 650 whp w/o pulling the motor and major reconstructive surgery?

Have you ever l momentarily lost consciousness or gotten vertigo leaving the line on any of your runs? It's happen to me a couple times really badly, and I think its because I didn't have my head pressed firmly against the head rest on the launch (which is common for people driving slower cars with no helmet on - which was not my case). But I left the line and I completely started to get vertigo almost immediately , but the launch was so good I didn't want to let off the gas. I just pointed the nose of the car down the middle of the lane, and the vertigo slowly backed off at about the 1/8 mile (no car in the lane next to me). So have you ever gotten vertigo (which is when everything starts spinning and your site is seriously impaired ) or lose consciousness leaving the line? I thought I was going to have to stop racing because of it, because it was so scary. Thanks

Why is the Stang going faster in the quarter but has a similar time as the vettes? Are the Vettes getting of the line faster?
Its all about the 60ft... The corvettes with the positive displacement superchargers make a lot more torque than the TT mustang does. So the 60ft was MUCH better on the Corvettes than the TT Mustang. Now that we have some data, we can make some changes to the black mustang to help the 60ft and once transmission can hold it will be a solid 8sec car. Hope that helps...

You are correct. Coyotes are a smaller displacement V8. They don’t make the torque down low like the Chevy LT stuff. Plus all the GM stuff was using roots style superchargers. Most supercharged V8s fall off pretty fast past 6500 rpms. But the coyotes have big 4 valve heads that live on high rpms. They really come alive on the big end of the track with turbochargers especially.
