the funny part of konami viper emulation, only i found out the other "dipswitches"(which are not 4 like the original board) was a part of the io board, how do i know that? simple because of warzaid and boxing mania ashita no joe(other games I didn't get to test it) has io command that is where, inside dip-switch, but as I found out, I don't know, I just know that there was something wrong in the input,to make it worse, only boxing mania and tsurugi can use fast forward and skip on emulator only, other games don't, because these others crash when using fast forward.
You have to rely on cpu clock and the refresh rate, that's how i made work all the viper games i tested, there are some work fine and didn't require any modification. as example Code one dispact i was able bypass frezze/crash and can't get past due hardware error. Games like gti club and TD2 are working fine but jsut needs have changed on the slider to prevent crashes.
@@thattasone I don't know what the konami viper refresh rate is, but I know it has 4 refresh rate in each game,but what cpu clock and refresh rate did you use, and I'm trying to find out "3793-A" if it's audio chip or viper voltage since it didn't show in the "Notes" of the "PCB Layout" inside the "viper cpp" of mame.
@@thattasone the network error of gticlub 2, I guess it's twin cabinet (not single cabinet), I'll think to analyze which viper cpp command line causing the network error, and I forgot to mention that, viper hardware has led of diagnostics and it gives soft reset by itself when it gives error or just crashes

update: mahjong fight club also doesn't crash with mame's fast forward or skip
