Wrong, Konami viper emulation with MAME

Hi so ive bought a controller a logitech f310 controller to play thrill drive 2 on this special build mame viper...but unfortunately it still the same problem i can't make right turns only left turns if I move the L stick to the right it just stays at center instead of turning it to the right & when I went to calibrate it comes out with a sterring error...do you mind sharing me how can I solve this problem?

@@thattasone after I download the file where should I put that RTC?

I simply lost motivation going deeper and wasn't optimal only good thing it always reproduces the sound no matter how corrupted is the save file. Prob I'll take a look again once I figure a way to fully reproduce the sound and not partially.

Yeah man i wanna play it too again... But i still don't understand, this game is so underrated af that at the same time there's still few people playing it and somehow record it also upload it to TH-cam yet there's no a single person in this world that willing to give a proper tutorial on how to installing and playing this game through emulator or something. But I've ever found one or two on internet someone finally give a ways on how to play but when i try it, it always ended up on error or some confusion to do... Now i won't even try anymore until someone can provide a true tutorial on how to play this game, or pls can someone give an information if there's actually a person who is willing to give a proper instructions on how to actually run this game, because perhaps you guys can know more rather than me....

Apparently nothing, same as TD1 only difference is not slowing down after you pass them put after a specific point it will stop

Starts fine and no crashes + controls are set FFFFFF on later mame releases

@@thattasone ohh alright then...btw I already downloaded the rom for thrill drive 2 & loaded it via Mame but after it load up it goes straight to test mode but the controls seem to be broken like i cant adjust the gear shift up/down to navigate inside the test mode nor drive the vehicles in the game...will these be fixed in the next mame release?

Network emulation issue

Game running fine, just tested in 3 different regions. EBB: steering doesn't work well AAA: runs good but has limited steer JAA: same as AAA

@@thattasone In other words, only the Asian versions are partially playable at this point. Does the Japanese version also have the option to play the game in English, like how its predecessor and follow-up did?

@Razorblade1812 in the Japanese ver you can't change the language unlike the original but you can still change speed meter display.

Sadly ver EAB still has Japanese and English languages, probably i going to see for NWK-TR version if i find anything new, maybe I'll do a gameplay with this European machine.

@@thattasone I could really think that the developers (of Konami) back then were "rushed" on the language selections, just didn't gave a damn (care) - or otherwise, any country has the "Japanese community" in their hood I guess. That's just my own theories. Fortunately though, the 2nd (and onwards) series did their proper best for language localizations. Also, for me, if there's no major differences except the language and the tachometer positioning (in the I/O Initialization settings found, along with the Transmission type [Up-Down or 5+R gearing]), then I don't know what would be the point, with respect of course.

@@TASTomusan seeing all 3 regional attract intros, i wonder if there would be a side by side comparison of all 3 attracts.
