Wow, there seems to be a lot of closed Burger King you've covered in New Jersey! I hardly find any of abandoned BKs where I am from. Great video as always, TeknBolt!
Thank you, Andy! I've only covered a few of them! Interestingly, there are actually at least 5 more abandoned Burger Kings in NJ that I haven't covered yet. They seem to be closing randomly for remodeling or indefinitely.
I grew up in Bergenfield and when we were kids, around 11, my friends and I would ride our bikes all the way to this burger king. It's well maintained for being so old, much better than some of the other burger kings. Thanks for another great video!
Wow, Terri, it sounds like this Burger King holds a lot of memories for you! I wonder if this was when it was still a 'brown roof' Burger King? Interestingly, there's actually one of those classic brown roof location still open in New Jersey! Thanks for watching Terri!
@@TeknBolt Yes indeed. I'm 63 so we're talking 52 years ago! Gosh how time flies. I don't remember what color the roof was back then, but I do remember that Burger King was there as far back as I can remember. That's when the food was good! Back then there were no fast food places in Bergenfield. Pizza and diners were the only take out food. So this Burger King was one of the earliest of fast food restaurants at that time. Love your videos. Thanks again! Edit: *Pizza, diners, and Chinese food.*
If you look at 3:53 in the video, you can see what appears to be a door and tinted glass, which makes me think that could have been the playground area. That would make sense, given the odd choice of blinds.
@@TeknBolt kids f up blinds like that all the time… I remember those in doctors offices in the 80s and also on sliding glass doors at homes and they would always be jacked up
When did this BK close?! I remember growing up in Bergenfield and occasionally coming here.
I believe this closed in September of last year, but they have since reopened it was just for a renovation.
@ ah gotcha.

That's cool! Thanks for watching!
I haven't been inside, but it has reopened.
A Burger King with vertical blinds??? wtf! Very weird BK. It’s like a mash up of old and new in a bad way.
The circle booth was cool!
