    I got a buddy who has a sheep farm and he has an abundance of ground lamb meat who mixes it with Greek seasoning to make gyros.

    A few non traditional things in there. But looks great regardless. I’d smash it. Nice work. 👍🏼 Well done getting on the lamb too. Something a lot of Americans seem to be tentative of. Get some lamb cutlets on that grill! Greek style too. Salt, pepper, oregano, garlic. Lemon and olive oil over the top. Winner.

      @@TheFlatTopKing Not really. They’re low and slow. You can smoke them and finish with a wrap if you want to do them BBQ style. Well worth the effort. Check out episode 22 on my channel. That’s lamb leg. But you can use the same recipe. Just less time because shanks are smaller. 👍🏼 Do them on your pellet grill.

    duuuuude! i lived in Greece for a year. thats not close to the original. but shhhh i think that yours might be better!!! why gotta be close to the original its how YOU want it!! every place in Greece made it different. the best was meat, French fries, tomatoes. and Tzatziki . MAYBE lettuce. but u put a Greek salad on yours OMG THATS AWESOME!!!!!

      You're right, that marinade would be awesome on ANY meat. Especially a ribeye. Man, I think it would even be great on fish or shrimp! But if you've never had Lamb, try it.

    Looks fantastic. I lived in a city years ago, hung out with Greeks and Italians. Their food is awesome. We go to a middle eastern store for our supplies. I saved your receipt so we can try it out. I order our Greek seasoning online threw Amazon. Had to hunt it down. Tried a lot of them until I found this brand.

    Authentic? I never saw that word. I saw "Easy Greek Gyro". If you want authentic, head to Greece. BTW, when I was on the USS Forrestal, we made a few stops in Rhodes, and I lived on those things while we were there. That being said, man this looks awesome. I just wish we could get those sirloin cuts of Lamb where I live. Gonna have to reach out and find a Greek market around me. Awesome job Brother!

    Interesting true story. I grew up in NW Arkansas, with Harrison being the closest "large city." Cavendars Seasonings is based in Harrison AR, so I applied for a job there not long after HS graduation. I didn't get the job, so I joined the US Navy and never moved back to the Ozarks.

      The Camp Chef was let go because I had acquired to many cooking things on my back porch. We extended our back deck for entertaining not cooking and after a while it was just to much.
      I have 2 videos about things to consider before you buy a flat top grill and pros and cons
      In that I had to make a decision just like all of the viewers which one needed to go.
      The Camp Chef was never a problem or didnt live up to my standards.
      I would recommend that to anyone anytime
      The Camp Chef for me did not have 4 caster wheels, and its harder to move around on my deck because I have to move so ofter to film.
      It also does not have a hood and I wanted a flat top with a hood. Those 2 pros and cons to me put it on the chopping block.
      I had also did a video and a fb post about getting rid of on griddle so I can buy another to use for viewers...my deck is only so big..ahahahah

      hahhah Lets break this answer down, Definitely not anything bad..I love my Camp Chef

    The Cavenders Greek seasoning is fantastic in the mix for tuna fish sandwiches and most especially in chicken salad sandwiches .
    I just seasoned my brand new 36” Blackstone with air fryer last weekend. I started it out on high and left it there the whole time. Hours in fact. Took forever to get it all black. Anyway, I’ve since heard you should warm the griddle on low or medium first and then move to high to season it because doing it on high without warming will either crack or warp your griddle top. Mine isn’t cracked but they said you won’t see the warping until the next use. I’m sick to my stomach hearing this. I’ll find out this Saturday . Can you offer any info on this subject ?

      Unfortunately I agree..I stress and have verbally committed till im sick that I only cook on low...I have a video that shows all this in detail
      Does flat top grill temps matter...
      Our blackstone should reach high 400s even on low and with all my cooking I have never needed more

      Lucky for you there are plenty of other channels with healthy recipes. FTK is about flavor - not necessarily the way you need to eat every day

    Please learn how to pronounce things correctly, especially if you're going to try to teach people. Gyro is pronounced like the words "yes," "you," and "yodel." Think of it like "ye olde." Also it is tzatziki, not Taz tiki. You can break that down by syllables, tza tzi ki. Kind of how you pronounce "tzar."

      this one was extremely healthy...less than 20 carbs for the whole portion...I watch carbs not fat...so for us this is perfect..
      The pita was heathly as well..
