Loved the comparison! It seemed like the fury did a little better. I would love to see you do it again but with the lcg chassis kit installed on the slash. I’m curious to see how they would compare both having a lcg chassis.
Ya that would be a little better comparison car wise, I know the slash cost a lot more, I went with the vortex mega, awesome truck, waiting on brushless system now
A proper comparison. 2wd vs 2wd. Both brushed. Like that this is apples to apples. Now lets just be real, everybody should throw a brushless system in the fury to really make that RC come alive.
@@ÉdouardBrasseur yeah. Truth be told, does anybody actually keep these brushed? Me neither. I pulled that the moment I got it. Threw a brushless system in it as it should be.
@@SteveSoper1979 i wanted a gorgon at first and knew nothing about rc cars. When i understood what is the 2 in 1 it turned me off. I got a slash 2wd bl2s. Traxxas is controversial but im pretty happy.
I just posted a similar video! Hadn't seen a comparison yet. Glad to see that someone with a following got a video out. Edit after watching: Wow our videos were actually super similar 😂 I promise I recorded mine before I saw yours.
So what is your honest opinion, at the hobby shop I was told the Slash has better parts available but I know the Fury just came out not too long so parts will be available. Although I'm just going to run around in the yard maybe jump out of some ditches - not even a foot high.
For racing, I'd definitely say the slash due to the parts availability and tuning info available but for bashing and just having fun, I'd say the fury seems like the better pick! But that's just my opinion.
Yep, 2s lipos in both trucks! I have seen a lot of people swapping the titans in when the stock motors die on the gorgons and similar platforms, apparently its a slight upgrade and lasts longer. Congrats on your Fury!
Just ordered the fury. This is an awesome comparison. Can’t wait to drive it👍✌🏼
Arrma, THE clear winner. You could almost buy 2 Arrma Furys for the price of one Slash!
Ordering a fury 223 soon great price

Are you guys on Nimh or lipo? Curious what a Titan motor would do in the Fury for shits and giggles!!! Should have my green Fury tomorrow!
you could see at the start of their video they were loading up 2s lipos

@@A2ZRC thanks,
The servo on the underside is so terrible on the slash.
Put a titan 12t in the arrma now
