I understand your pain but you have to learn how to Tune the carb. I started with nitro, drove them for 5 years and switch to 1:5th 2 stroke. 4 years and still going strong.

I had this smallest son of a digger and I just got the grave digger large size today. I had the Traxxas gravedigger I still have it but it’s 12 or 13 years old and even with a new battery it’s not as fast as my newer trucks. So I wanted a new grave digger, so even at $659 I bought it and I actually may get the full-size son of a digger as well. It’s expensive a lot more than the Traxxas version but it’s the only option right now for gravedigger. I’m gonna put this grave digger against my new Bigfoot. I want to see if there’s any difference between a $260 truck & a $665 truck

The vs4-10 looks great with those upgrades

2s is for driving the truck like a real Monster Truck. 3s is for being a wildman. The servo should be your first upgrade, go with something they has over 500oz of torque and anywhere from .09 to .11 speed. It'll wake the truck up.

I grew up with Nitro, both Cars and planes. First off, no one knows how to properly tune a nitro. Second, when they need repairs, no one has a clue. Third, they are fussy, period. I started out with a Cox nitro line control in the 70's. I aquired a Tamya Terra Crusher two years ago and got it going again. I did it on a dare, being I do small engine repairs, it was a cake walk for me. I have rebuilt several nitro engines, including new sleeve, new piston, new bearings and seals. Yes, I can do nitro, but I hate it, period. Electric for me is enjoyment. No screwing with glow plugs fouling, no constant tuning, yeah. I have many Traxxas cars, the Rustler has turned out to be my favorite. I have the Slash Ultimate, the 2wd Slash, the TrX4 a Stampede, yeah, I avoided the Nitro Slash. Enjoy it till you learn to hate it. That was me.

What tires are those? Are they good for bashing but still have that buggy tire look? Also, do you think this would work on a fiesta st rally? (the slash 4x4 lcg chassis is the same as the fiesta)

Maybe stupid question, but would you like to share the value of your teuck now finished? Reason I'm asking, love to buy a slash, but don't know if i should buy an old one and finetune to my preferences or buy a new one? Should I go for 2wd or a 4wd. Thx giving me some tips&tricks for a new hobbiest. Grtz Ben
