I really like how you can extra chances to re-roll the stats. D4’s don’t get enough love.

It’s our current dm’s least favorite die. Which means I look for as many excuses to use it as possible. lol

My system for stats I created, I think is much more fun & far more effective.
You start with 72 points you can spread however you want NOT EXCEEDING 20, then you add your Racial Stats on top of that STILL NOT EXCEEDING 20. I suggest you all try it out.

I like that for newer players allowing them to build a balance in a character you want. But, me personally, I like to roll everything and let the choas of dice create fun.

    It's an imperfect system.
Better would be the d4 allows rerolls of 1 Stat.
So that 5 you rolled gets a chance at reroll.

A 5 is certainly unfavorable but I think bad stats can lead to good Roleplaying. Gotta know your limitations sometimes. lol.

@@rollemifyougottemOh yes, I have a character who's got 5 strength XD she can't carry much, but she's a sorcerer so the strength doesn't matter too much, though she'd be in trouble in an encounter with shadows, and she'd need a bit of help for anything that requires strength.

Interesting! I know they were all pretty lack luster that first round but I did not realize that. Thank you for pointing it out. Don’t forget to subscribe for more dnd content coming soon!
