Yeah I have visited mantri mall and used that metro present there
First propose to link Chennai city with Chenglepet from airport. This will reduce traffic from airport to Tambaram and then to Chenglepet. City has developed beyond Tambaram and electric train is over crowded. All living around Perungalathur Oorappakkam Guduvancheri Maraimalai Nagar and Chenglepet will be muchbenefitted. Metro is concentrating only in and around Chennai when it has electric train from TBM to Beach Parakkum rail from Beach to Velachery now it will be linked with St. Thomas Mount shortly. Govt shd think of improving outer Chennai city rather than linking with existing rail routes. By this bus services could be reduced fuel saved people with two wheelers cars can think of leaving their vehicles at nearest stations. Govt plan shd be at least for next twenty yrs and not five yr term improving all infrastructure before going for anything. First they shd hv proper wide roads properunderground cable provisions drinking water and saving existing water bodies for public and how to drain rain water in case of cyclone heavy rains etc. this is my view. DPR is approved but unable to secure funds to begin construction. So waiting for the funds.

Kelambakkam to kilambakkam metro will be failure as it is less population area compared to other parts of chennai,may be lightrail,monorail,increasing mtc fleet is more enough in that strech
