Awesome dude, top 10 valuable vinyl videos annoy the crap out of me but I love this. Yeah, when some of that pop shit goes out of print the prices go up fast.
They never went anywhere. Longtime collectors like me appreciate the affordability and portability of CDs. Many CD titles still don’t have a vinyl issue so they’re still worth grabbing.
Hi 👋 Greetings from New Zealand. I own a large collection of cds. I have ones where im not likely to come across another copy. Especially by New Zealand musicians. Cds have been around for a long time now. I check out thrift and charity stores searching for them. Some cds that i have bought are from people that are deceased, and the cds have been given to the store. So they are quite old. I saw Public Image Ltd in concert here in NZ in the 1980s. They were fun and played very loud. I like cds that have special outtakes , remixes and live tracks on them. I look after my cds with a cleaning solution called Isopropyl Alcohol. I wipe it on with a soft cloth. Works good. I own a huge collection of Jazz cds too. Interesting video . From Carl.
thx for posting these. I havent even heard of alot of these bands . its all Generational. my collection is from 1965 and up pretty much.. alot of great music not even on C.D. unfortunately and probably never will be. Ill give you 3 that I think you can get that were really valuable records.. Todd Rundgren - Runt .. Zephyr with Tommy Bolin - First album. Santanic Majestys Request with the 3D album cover by the Rolling stones. oh.. Its a Beautiful day -1 st album. all were very rare and collectable in their day . I remember Runt selling for 45 dollars in 1975 regular albums were 3 dollars.
No original BM in your CD collection then. CD renaissance will be here before you know it, but half of my CDs have $50 + median right now, because as much as I resisted buying them so many integral albums in the 90s had no vinyl release and so I had to buy a stack of great albums first run on that format. Some of my cassettes are going for crazy money on Discogs. It's a weird time for hard copy but if it's good material don't get rid of anything no matter what format. The demand shifts with the tides of hipsters and flippers. Hell, a RE of Weakling - Dead as Dreams on CD is $100 median. When it first came out it was easy to find fist run second hand for $10... It's madness. But, here we are.
This isnt discogs. But the Tom Mcdonald/Adam Calhoun-The brave album....was selling for $200-$500 range..and yes, selling. Edit: this was within a month after its release
Great Collection of cds! I would love to see your most valuable Records as well!

Absolutely. Have you heard this Holly Humberstone album? Think it’s very much in your lane.
Do you think CDs could come back in the future?

This Todd fan paid a lot for my 3 original Nazz vinyl albums, too.

Some of them are worth less than the original price.

Can’t imagine why anyone would want to pay a cent for that garbage.
@@broke.on.records totally independent artist hitting #1 pretty consistently on billboard is impressive.
That PiL album was the last thing they did good. Still need the vinyl version but too expensive.
Don't believe everything you see.. or read..everyone collection is different and what they believe is collectable..
collectible**
My whole collection of victory CDs are the most rare
