That wide open throttle takeoff really caught me off guard, I laughed my ass off! It sounded unusually ferocious!.Damn Honda V6 engines, they’re so good! 👍
That's the problem here. Once you remove the middle seat on the second row, you won't have any arm rests on both sides. Also, the air vents are not on the headliners, and their old school setup makes the ac work harder, especially during hot summer days. Another setback is the small infotainment screen. Their competitors offer at least 12 in screens. These are the deal breakers for me.
First two points I agree (I have a 2024 myself). Infotainment screen size I don’t particularly care once I start driving. For me, the way that most manufacturers execute 12 inch displays is distracting and inconvenient. For starters, you really have to ask yourself why you need such a large screen. Unless you really need that large a screen to read your navigation, it’s really not a big deal. The other issue is with the screen height. Most of the size goes to the width, and if you don’t have long arms, reaching the far right side of the screen as a driver becomes inconvenient, and borderline distracting. I wouldn’t mind the extra size if they kept the aspect ratio more manageable and usable.
@natallieboothe6219 The Pilot Touring trim does not have Heated Steering Wheel as a standard feature. It is an optional feature you could have added for additional cost. I think $700 installed by Dealership. But it comes standard on the TrailSport, Elite, and new 2025 Black Edition trim. So that's what makes a AWD Touring trim and the Elite trim something to think about. For a few thousand dollars more you get much more.
I didn't see it anywhere in the video, buy figured I'd ask. Does this vehicle have middle seats that slide left/right? Or is that JUST the honda odyssey that does that?
haven't looked into the Odyssey yet, but hopefully i get a chance to explore it later on - if it's anything like the previous gen Odysseys then I'm sure it's a brilliant van
WHY does Honda continue to produce SUV's with the push button transmission selector. It requires one to look down to at the console and find the right gear!?
The spare doughnut tire is underneath the SUV. The TrailSport Pilot trim gets a full-sized spare tire but that model comes with Captains Chairs 2nd Row Seats. No stowaway center seat. The storage well in that vehicle not as deep.

What do people do with larger screens? genuinely curious. How does it makes things easier beside good to look at?

The Honda Pilot should have a 360 camera because of it’s size and a large informatics tablet center screen like the New 2024 GMC Acadia.
The Elite trim has the 360 camera view
Great review Matt. The 2025 Honda Odyssey Minivan was posted on Motortrend's website yesterday. What's your opinion about it?
