- One of the first modifications I needed to do for my 2021 Trek Roscoe 7 is installing mudguards. We're heading into fall here in Vancouver, Canada so we're going to start to see a lot of rain and so I'm expecting to some splashes on the trails.

What mods have folks been doing to their bikes?
Ordered mine on 4th Sep and it's "available from 30th Sep" - so I'm hoping to have it very soon! I've also bought some DMR V12 pedals, some Crud front a rear mudguards, 2 new tyre (maxxis highroller 2) and a tubeless kit.

My Roscoe 7 arrives on the 26th Sept, I've already got the same Mucky Nutz guard, Ergon GA3 grips and Deity Defttrap pedals to go on...

@@buulam : I like the frame, dropper and drivetrain on the Roscoe but the contact points are ordinary. Everyone says the saddle is uncomfortable and the pedals are basic. The rear hub also gets poor reviews, but that's a harder upgrade so I'm going to wait and may even get my local bike shop involved for that one.

@@buulam Thanks man! I am super excited. Told them I would take the orange or black, which ever came in first and last the green if I had to. The green is a brutal color.

Do you find that guard sufficient? I haven't fitted any yet but I find the majority of the splash I get is from the front wheel seemingly coming up in front of the wheel so I wonder if this will be enough to prevent that?
How did u tie the Velcro part on the mudguard bc I didn’t see u tie it around the side part of the mud guard
There's a couple little slits on the slides of the mud guards and I was able to slip the velcro through them. They were meant for zip ties but I had velcro thin enough :)
