I don’t think it was as fast as that. Also, the validity of that is questionable. When you watch Jonah play, he’s fast, but for a winger, pretty average. I think theres so many myths about him.
@@Saia5014 But not today. 10.5 would be one of the top 3 fastest wingers in the world right now. He’s never top 3 if you actually watch him run, vs guys today. For example. Kolbe at his fastest was a 10.7, Jonah is not faster than Cheslin.
@@jameswyatt4443 bro Jonah looks way faster then kolbe let’s be real.. Jonah’s strides are much longer and quicker he was fast asfk not to mention we’re talking about a man who played most of his career with a life threatening illness and look at the greatness he showed in his short career.. he is the goat and it’s absolutely crazy that he never got too reach his full potential..
@@Saia5014 he isn’t the goat. He’s up there, but that’s irrelevant, the point is simply his pace is exaggerated. You can’t watch the games and actually believe he was 10.5 fast.
2:16 SBW played Rugby Union (the main version of Rugby), Rugby 7s (what they play at the Olympics, fast version of rugby), Rugby league (aussie's main version) and was also a heavyweight boxer. he code switch so many times people started calling him Money Bill Williams because he just went where ever he got paid the most.
#2 Jonah Lomu! Proud South African here but he IS the GOAT. Nothing compares to him. If he was around now with all the advancements in training etc, he would single handedly win games for the most part. A force of nature he was! Not only was he immensely quick in acceleration and maintaining top speed, but to be able to move and sidestep at that rate whilst transferring all his weight with each step / direction change, in order to shoulder charge or bounce a defender, is un-fucking-believable. Imagine taking a heavy ass dumbbell and moving it like a feather, that was Jonah Lomu.
Jonah Lomu Pronounce 'Low Moo' (moo as a cow sound) Nz only major international Superstar from early 90s. Dallas Cowboys offered him major million dollar contract in the early years due to his explosive speed & stature. Somewhat to Marshall Lynch. Jonah no longer here as he sadly passed a few years back. For the record, he played Rugby Union whilst having kidney disease.
For no. 10 "There's no way he thought that was going to work" But it did work: The big guy moved enough to put a toe on the line, so he's OUT and the other team get the ball for a line-out.
Very good of you to check up the differences between pounds and kilograms. And also, I do not understand why they mixup the imperial-system and the metrics? Cheers from Italy!
You’ve seen the brutality, the steps & the tries of rugby. Time to see the refs. Try watching 10 min of Nigel Owens, you see the respect the players have for the officials and how a 6’6” beast goes yes sir, sorry sir 🤣🤣🤣🇿🇦
No 2 is indeed a hall of famer. He is World Rugby's first superstar. In fact, he was almost solely responsible for rugby going professional: they didn't want to lose him to NFL or rugby league, so had to give up the pretense of amateurism.
Great reaction bro but it's kinda weird that bakkie isn't in the list... Also, Eben is the 🐐. U really want him as your brother))) you are safe for life)
7:55 Jonah Lomu being that size also ran 100m in I think 10.5 seconds or something like that, he is considered one of if not the GOAT of rugby

New Zealand AB's have two massive props. 6'5" 130 & 140 kg who can offload and run the ball. Both played number 8 in their early days.

SAFA here, 💯 bud, there was only 1 Jona Lomu. What a player and in my book an all time rugby great✌
Pierre Spies and Jesse Kriel are Springbok legends, Jesse still plays but Pierre Spies is retired
