Is there a big difference in beam pattern and light output between using the LED headlight with the adapter and no glass in front of it, and your previous setup with the LED headlight behind the factory headlight glass?
I think the beam pattern would be better without as the factory lens is designed to direct light a certain way but the led units are designed to be used without an additional lens if that makes sense
@@TheNorthernExplorer exactly, that was the first thing that came to mind when I saw your video of the headlight modification, but now I'm curious if the difference is really noticeable or not a big deal. Thank you!
@@TheNorthernExplorer good to know. I personally like the "original look" better than the plastic trim around the LED headlight, so I might be going a similar way as your headlight modification at some point. Right now I'm using Auxito H4 LED bulbs on pre facelift D2 headlights and it's definitely better than halogens, I can adjust the height and I don't glare other drivers, but I'm not completely satisfied with the beam pattern. Thank you for your input, I really like your videos!
The ones you did looked really good too in my opinion.
Thanks, yeah I did like them but they were a bit rough and let water in 😂
now there's an idea😉
If you I install the LED LIGHT with halo ring it will look even better especially on when switching on the 1st light switch
You read my mind! The new lights with halo have just arrived 👍
Are these available anywhere anymore?
Unfortunately I don’t think they are, the company website doesn’t seem to be there anymore
Do u have a link where to buy thanks

Great !!!!
Thank you
It seems that the led lights facing a little bit outwards and not straight in the driving direction. Is this correct or does it just look like it?
Yes your correct, they need adjusting before I use them on the road
Can't find any reference online for "Bro Rover". Do you have any contact info for them please?
I’m sorry I’ve just looked for the website but it looks like it’s closed down? Shame because the adapters were popular.
@@TheNorthernExplorer Thanks for the note....agree with you...a real shame as I can see some real potential there.
@@willinch5640 maybe I should buy a 3D printer and make my own :)

@@GerarditoCR I’ll be honest I don’t think it’s really noticeable it’s more for aesthetics

@@GerarditoCR thank you I really appreciate you watching! I’ve not fit the plastic ones fully yet so I’m undecided but I did like the standard look
Do you have the file or know anyone that does?
I’m sorry I don’t, I was very tempted to buy the file when it was available, but gutted I didn’t now
