Installed this product and loved it so far. However, now my security concern is, if any guest or someone have an evil desire, then they re-key it very easily from inside the house and screw me out without knowing the lock code. Is there a way to de-activate the re-key option?
I purchased a home with the smartcode 10 installed. The box mentions home connect but I am having trouble setting up the remote access. Is there anyway to use it with the iPhone? thanks
There is no alignment of the ‘D’ in the latch to the interior box with the model I bough. And I don’t see anywhere where you can adjust the alignment. Either I have a defective assembly or your instructions are missing several steps.
So I called support after looking thru their online trouble shooting guide which had nothing on the issue. Anyway support right away told me that the hole that the bolt extends into was to shallow, that's why it would keep recycling to try to fully extend. I made it another 1/2 inch deeper and its fine now. Very happy. No keys to mess around with in the winter and at night.

oh just realized that you must have to have the old key to re-key it, perfect, loved it all the way...

Only the z wave model of weiser supports this function. To use w/ iphone you have to connect it to a security system first, i.e ADT

It's insane there's not one fuckin video how to connect to the app and your instructions on paper DO NOT WORK.
