The cards you were questioning were more or less on my radar as well so it made sense. The Great Aurora is mostly in there because I like having some kind of board wipe so it's an emergency reset button. I've cast it once (though I haven't played the deck that much) and I won the game in the following turn. Probably can do without but it's fun lol
I like Cankerbloom in decks that care about counters, there’s probably a reason why it’s excluded here but it’s the essentially the same mana cost as Rec Sage
Cankerbloom is real good in decks that can use the utility of that card to their advantage - think midrange or gy decks - here it's generally just going to be 3/2 without deathtouch, which is a bit clumsy. There is the dream of drawing this with all your opponents at 9 poison - but I think even then we can have better cards in the deck for that.

Saryth is a very good wat to protect you when summoning sickness is in effect. I feel its a bad cut
