The Child Dreams Long ago in times of old When knights in armor were strong and bold, When fairies lived beneath the trees And flew about on bumblebees. They bathed and swam in moonlight shafts, And for miles around, you heard their laughs. In toadstools large and small Are tiny lights and chimneys tall. Fiery dragons roar through caves Sending out a mist-like haze. Fat stout trolls beneath bridges lie Waiting to grab whatever comes by Think i know what such a place Where spiders spin pure webs of lace. I will take you there with me And together forever we will be In the land of no return Like Peter Pan we live and learn.
+Kleostrato de Ténedos I'm a bit of a sucker for 60s/early 70s psychedelia, but these lyrics are like they are written for small children, in a little illustrated book that would be read out loud to the class in kindergarten or primary school.
True! But have you often noticed that people (esp in Western cultures, German tradition for instance) like to weave such truths and ideals into children's stories because the adult psyche receives them easier that way? The adult mind develops blockages and sometimes has difficulty exploring the more mystical, wandering creative side of experience. And after all the song is called "The Child Dreams." ;)
I’m 17, and I like 60s psych rock and I like modern 60s psych rock. I always feel somewhat lonely because people don’t share the same type of music as me, I don’t really feel unique, I just to hang with people my age that like the same music as me.

Wow. I wasn't into this back in 69. I was only 13. I liked bubblegum stuff back then. Hearing this now makes me want to paint flowers on my face and wave my hands in the air. I luv it. Had to quit drugs cause I got a driving job but I still drink plenty.
I put on my drugrug and stumbled to the Twelve Tribes to wake up my tired mind, but alas, it was their sabbath day, and my favorite barista Ezekiel was nowhere near. Forlorn, I was about to jump into the creek to cleanse my hidden regions which society deems lewd, when I heard a harmonious din arise from the unused theatre. I approached and was greeted by a Color Magic Meetup! Fuscia, teal, burnt sienna, all my spirit colirs were represented! I told the dancing elves my spirit name, and they theirs to me, and we danced to a bootleg recording of String Cheese blasting from the camper parked on the street, blessed be, the Manitou in you and me!!

It says in the description that this is one of the rarest albums, has only six copies. I doubt any of those six people who owe it would put it on the internet for downloading, it's too precious for them.

Wow! I love the era this song is from, whether it's the American well-known classics like Jefferson Airplane or Cream, or the lesser-known Cambodian or Tai or Turkish psychedelic creations, or from Northern European musicians like Bo Hansson. But this song. . . just wow! I have listened three times now and am not bored yet. Weird side note- in my mind the sound took me to an alternate realm where everything was fantastical, but there were dancing skeletons. They said not to be afraid but I sensed a spell. What magic is this?? Btw I was not high while experiencing this. :)
