I used to listen on my transistor radio in Michigan USA in around 71.. To an underground station I found on the dial… I remember they played Foghat. I just wanna make love to you …and the band curved air… Plus many others.. Good times!

Very few of anyone I've ever known would have ever heard this if it hadn't been for me dropping by with this album and a few tabs of acid. Not a song you would hear on the radio. Beaker Street was the only place that would play it occasionally.
WoW!! These guys captured the sound of the times. I was only 9 years old at this time and didn't know about 'The Corporation' until today, but I was such a fan of great hard rock music and these guys earned the phrase 'hit the ground running'. :)

@@Oh_I_Will Yes way! FM underground stations (mine being in Sacramento, CA KZAP) especially in 1967-1971, played anything they wanted. They were not under corporate control. That all changed in late 1972. The corporate AM stations owners saw the advantage of stereo and knew everyone was starting to have Stereo radios in homes and cars. FM underground was destroyed almost overnight. I'll never forget my wonderful memories of free-form radio in those glorious 4 years.
from that era: Colosseum, The Nice, The Byrds, Moody Blues, Focus, Traffic, Family, and others.... in similar vein, and, famous then, famous now.... but never heard, or heard of, these guys, marvellous though they are. fame's a funny thing.
Its hard to ignore the Doors influence in the pace, the playing or just the keyboard overtone beside the guitar ..... It's fine and a plus for the flute arrival as I scribble these words ..

Iron Butterfly album used heavily in 'Manhunter' the Brian Cox Hannibal Lecter film. I reckon the Vanilla Fudge take on psychedelia i.e. 'Shotgun' better but....
that was pretty wild, sounds like they were doing their own Iron Butterfly album side. That was very avant garde. I would imagine they played some incredible live versions expanding on this jam.

Iron Butterfly album used heavily in 'Manhunter' the Brian Cox Hannibal Lecter film. I reckon the Vanilla Fudge take on psychedelia i.e. 'Shotgun' better but....

that was pretty wild, sounds like they were doing their own Iron Butterfly album side. That was very avant garde. I would imagine they played some incredible live versions expanding on this jam.
