Thank you it took me 40 years to get a shop like that. Lol 😂 now I’m 50 about to be 51 and I don’t feel like working in it when it is hot. But I do a lot in it in the cooler months
Thank you for watching and commenting. I have changed some stuff on it in another video. When you get yours finished or started let me know. I like to see other builds. Take care.
Awesome trailer brother I'm down here in Lafitte Louisiana I started welding out of my truck 2 years ago and I tell you what I never stopped I been busy thank god ,I'm about to put all my stuff out of my truck and onto my trailer it's to much on my truck I really like the way you setup yours ,
Thank you for watching and commenting. Yes I was a rig welder for 26 yrs or so. It is by far a better deal because you can have more stuff for any job that comes up. Take care and stay safe out there
@@michaelsfabwork2985 I'm just starting with the welding, but I have a similar trailer (base trailer, not the stuff on it) and I think it might be smart for me to copy the way you did it, with the casters and securing system for the various things I need to load and unload from it. As a homesteader, my trailer hauls my water, generator fuel, propane, food, tools...everything that I can't lift up into my truck. So that caster idea might be a good way for me to do this. Just make multiple sleds.
Thank you for watching and commenting. That is why I love TH-cam. I search and get ideas for stuff I'm building and I like to share my experiences as well. I hope anything I do in a video can help you or anyone else's life easier. Take care and stay safe. Please subscribe If you haven't.
Thank you for commenting and watching and the sub. I wanted to make welding trailer where I could remove everything very easy. I changed up the lead holders and put lead reels on the skid and used the old lead holders for a remote cord and extinction cord. Thank you again and take care.
@@michaelsfabwork2985 I'm gathering ideas for a welding trailer of my own, too many limitations if people have to bring their work to my place. Thanks for sharing and hope your boy gets through welding school.

greetings from Baton Rouge Louisiana Neighbor! I’m a young welder myself just purchased my first machine. It’s a Lincoln Vantage 300 already on a small trailer, looking to start my own gig. any advice? thanks in advance! also might have to use some of your awesome ideas for my setup
Thank you for watching and commenting. Please use any idea from my build as you want to. To me that is why I like you tube to learn and get ideas for builds and projects. The only advise I can give you Is to do not be picky on jobs when starting out as long as it is making you money and you are using your rig then that is what it is about. The more you learn the more you earn. Don't be afraid to try new things and don't think if you mess up it is the end of the world. When you make mistakes use it as a learning experiences. I hope that helps. Take care and stay safe.
Very cool man. I live just south of Dallas, and I'm trying to get enough business to weld for a living for myself. I just bought a 10 ft bumper pull flatbed trailer 2 weeks ago. I'll definitely be stealing some of your designs for the skid and I like your cord and jackstand rack ideas too. It looks tight and efficient so far brother can't wait to see it finished. Also, would you recommend building a rack overhead so you can also carry longsteel/materials and maybe a ladder or do you just have another, longer trailer you use for that?
Thank you for watching and commenting. Yes I plan on adding a top rack to carry small steal and ladders for sure. It will be removable as well. I’m not going to carry big stuff because the trailer is getting to heavy now and like I said I’ll be putting another axel under it for load weight. The rack I’m thinking about is going to be square tubing in the corners well 2-1/2 so 2” will slide into it. I hope to get that done soon. Thank you again and take care and stay safe.
Tinsley Cox how have you been. I was just checking to see if you started your trailer yet. Im going to try and start on the top rack tomorrow so ill be doing a updated video. Plus i changed up the lead holders and that well be shown in the next video. I hope you come out with a video on your build man i like to see stuff like that. Take care.
Nice videos. You have a killer shop and rig... what are you working so manny hours doing? Your welding business or is this a side hustle? Ya man I'm looking to start my own thing also. I'm a pipefitter but looking to stay around the house more so praying my own business will support that .. God bless man
Thank you for watching and commenting. I welded for a living for 27 yrs. I worked for a pipeline maintenance company for last 15 yrs. in February of this yr i quit to do my own thing. I have my welding i do on the side plus i have a couple of skid-steers and mini excavator that I work and rent out. I don’t make the money i did from welding and working for the pipeline but i do enjoy haveing more freedom.you can not put a price on your free time.
