I'm running a custom 1995 F350 XLT with the Powerstroke 7.3 standard. I love it. Has most of my tools and for the welder I run a rebuilt 1978 SA 200 Blackface. So far so good. Many hours under the hood though.
just bought a crank/no start 1995 f450 with 7.3 powerstroke-shop built service bed w headache rack and davit crane..... hope to get it running again. new glow plugs as soon as i assemble my topside creeper. all glow plugs are open and found a rat nest in the air filter housing plus the fuel looks like pumpkin juice. changed oil and filter last week. wanna disconnect fuel system and run clean fuel to mechanical pump, put in 2 new batteries and then give it another try. any advice?
Now you only need a hitch on nearly any vehicle you have in the yard to go get work done. Perfect! I bought a used utility trailer last week as my pickup replacement; car fuel economy with almost truck capability (it's even an AWD car).
Nice job. The only thing that I might have done different would be to have the toolboxes run along the length rather than the width. But that would depend on how the layout would end up.
Looks fabulous! 3 days to assemble? I would need 3 weeks. --- The only thing you need is a better-looking spare tire cover. Great video. Glad I found your vids again. Thanks.
this may be a dumb question but could an F150 do the job with a ranger or the blue equivalent? JUst getting started.... also thinking about the trailer as a second choice. FJB
I had my work truck stolen and all my tools with it. Truck was eventually recovered, but not the tools. Cops did nothing beyond filing a report for the insurance claim. In addition to a GPS tracker and any sort of physical locking set up, he should absolutely NOT advertise what security measures he has taken. You don't want to give thieves any sort of heads up. As inspiring as it is to see his new set up it's advertising to the thieves out there. Always be vigilant. Cheers.

For some weird reason I was expecting you to ditch almost the entire trailer and end up with a skid that could be loaded on to your truck with a forklift.
Myself I want tandem axles with two spare tires. So when you blow a tire at speed you don't wipe out the single axle. Just me. Battery tie down with bolts NO straps? Nice outfit.
Agreed but living in the city like I do in L.A. pulling a trailer is a giant size nightmare I'm currently running an F250 with a utility bed which is good but for 1 thing tools in trailer in L.A. you'd need armed security 24-7 I need an air compressor to fit 1 small but powerful I got a 4 gallon twin tank not enough cfm and a 20 gallon speedaire that's too big to fit alongside my Lincoln Ranger
never understood you and your obsession with that not so john deere green you painted everything...guess it makes it easy to identify your own stuff though
Where are you finding hes old videos? Pos google ruined yt... The channel got deleted shortly after he exposed them, hes completely gone from everywhere

He's back
I would have mounted the vise off of the back to allow more freedom of movement and the ability to work around the job.

That top end noise was the timing chain guides. Common problem with triton motors, they wear out and make that rattle when they start.
Proud of you
Always loved that trailer. Looks great

you need to put a GPS tracker hidden on it somewhere. Just in case someone really likes it too.

Can you repost the build video for this trailer?

derbador the welder has a whole shop in an open shed in his yard. whenever i see that i think mayberry rfd
Don’t change the spark plugs ugh😢

Put a new Trans in mine still cheaper then anything I could find
Tandem axle = no bounce
I see a bad wheel bearing in your future
video is from years ago now, and that's a 7k pound axle...a welder and compressor won't hurt those bearings
