I have severe lymphedema post BC and lymph node dissection and none of my health care practitioners have ever mentioned this surgery. I found out about it through my own research. I’m desperate to have this done, because lymphedema is truly ruining my life. But I’m sure insurance won’t cover it.
I live in Texas and just had the surgery on November 17. Because of a couple of biopsies I had to do I had met my $7K deductible so I decided to do surgery. My insurance approved it. The day after surgery my arm was smaller than I have seen it on two years. Free your calendar if you decide to do it rest and care is very important.

@@prachigurjar2916 am from India...(kerala) you can get this surgery in some limited hospitals in india... First of all its a micro surgery...it costs blow 2 lak.. Manipal hospital banglore, Vims hospital and Amritha institute of medical science (kerala)...The surgery takes up to 5 to 8 hours... Its a cosmetic surgery so it doesn't promote in the government sector... VNLT (VAscularized lymph node transfer surgery ) is a highly specialized surgery..

Is this surgery option is available anywhere in India....my mother has gone breast Cancer surgery but now having pain severe in his armpit
