A foal is a baby horse. A filly is a female baby horse and a colt is a male baby horse. Which is why instead of 'ladies and gentlemen' they say 'fillies and gentlecolts'.
I had to check if someone had already commented this. I don't think the show ever uses just colt to refer to a young boy, but also, there are just not that many in the show.

"Inspiration Manifestation" is one of the wackiest Spike/Rarity episodes. It takes Spikes obsession with Rarity to a whole other level since he resorted to using magic to help her and as we all know magic isn't the answer for everything, Though the moment that Owlicious was in the bookcase made me laugh. And of course the shenanigans that Rarity got into with all of that dark magic was also hilarious, But some of the stuff Rarity created was amazing like when she changed Applejack's cart and when she put a period dress on RD and even Spike looked pretty badass in that crystal armor, I also can't believe that Spike at that whole book in one bite cartoon logic I know but it's still an awesome feat. Anyway, At least Spike learned his lesson in the end. As for "Equestria Games" some people in the fandom still consider it to be one of Spike's weakest episodes, But I for one think it's interesting. Especially because we finally got to see the mlp Equivalent of the Olympic games and of course learning that Spike was big shot in the Crystal Empire was also somewhat interesting but also not surprising considering that like everypony said he had a hand/hoof in saving the Empire from Sombra. But I won't lie when I say that out of all the scenes in this episode, The part where Spike tries to sing the Cloudsdale anthem is the absolute cringiest scene of the entire episode at least to me it is because no matter what, I can't watch that part of the episode without doing a facepalm and feeling awkward the entire time. But other than that, I find the episode to be interesting.

Unicorn=Latin word for 1 horn. A horse with a horn and magical healing properties. In classic mythology, they were horses that had a horn, the legs of a deer, and a lion's tail. Alicorn=originally was the name of the properties of what a unicorn's horn was made out of, but in very recent years, people started using the word for winged unicorns.
Also, ponies and horses are genetically the same animal. Only difference between horses and ponies are confirmation. Basically how its head is shaped, height, proportions of different parts of the body, etc. If you breed a horse and pony together, the foal will be determined to be a horse or a pony based off whether it has more horse-like, or pony-like traits. It does get confusing because some people use pony and horse interchangeably. Thoroughbreds are used for racing, and fall very much in the horse category. But sometimes people use cutesy playful slang and say they're off to go watch the ponies run. I once knew someone who mistakenly thought ponies were just baby horses. And I've also heard people say that the only difference is height. However, miniature horses (horses bred to be mini but retain horse proportions in miniature), and horses with dwarfism exist. So height is not the only difference. Genetically all the same animals though. So the equines don't care. Oh! And... Horse Donkey=separate equid species Jack=male donkey Jenny=female donkey Mule=Horse and Donkey hybrid from a Jack, and Mare. They do not produce viable offspring, and are in almost all cases sterile. Even when I watched this episode as a little kid, it was very clear to me that that wasn't her acting like that and the glowing green eyes were also giveaway that she had turned evil. I know that nobody like the idea to have two Spike episode in row but these two episode do give a good lesson. One about being honest (which is a really suprise how they didnt use AJ for that one) and other one about how if you focus on your mistake, you forgot to enjoy the praise that you deserve to get....

I absolutely love the first episode with Rarity, because I think she could have made an amazing villain. I wish that it escalated more and was a double feature cuz it would have been amazing to see one of the Mane Six turn into some possessed diva. And it would have been a callback (or call towards depending when they released) to the comics ;) As for spike, someone once told me that Spike's episodes are always centered around nerfing everyone else, and I agree. I wish Spike could have his own journey in a way that the other characters aren't just oddly nerfed. Cuz you're right, 100% the princesses shouldn't be disabled with their magic. And the fact they don't have a pony on standby to undo that spell is...bad lmao.
S4 FINALE IS NEXT!! STRAP IN PEEPS! Edit: S5 might be my favourite out of all of em, and S4 has the best finale for sure. S5 has the best premiere too. 4 insane episodes in a row!!! ITS JUST SO GOOD!!!!

At the time when the equestria games episode came out, Fans were not happy, I didn’t help that the games were hinted at for two episodes previously in between seasons So the hype for this to be a really good episode was high. But afterwards, a lot of reviewers, really combed through the episode, and made some interesting points about how really , there was no real way to do the episode the Justice people thought it deserved. Because Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy were the only two characters we know who were competing. And it was generally agreed on that just having an episode, full of a bunch of pony base sports, wasn’t going to be enough to hold an episode on its own.
Also honestly inspiration manifestation is one of my least favourite episodes, I do enjoy the equestrian games episode actually a really enjoyable spike episode
