@@brittreacts Great reaction as usual (your voice is great by the way) please check out MORE OF YOU (Tiny Desk Concert version) by Chris...his wife is singing with him, her voice is also beautiful
Chris Stapleton and a few others came at a time that country music fans needed cause it was turning into pop music. I love old Luke Bryan but he is my prime of example of “hey what a…what direction you heading here Luke.” I speak for me and my states only country station here in Connecticut. I wish I can shake this man’s hand.
Blues are the base for Country as well as Rock & Roll, as R&B, Gospel, Soul all base in The Blues. The ability to make you cry, to reach in your soul is his gift
Chris is the love of my life, musically speaking. He’s on tour now and will be in my state (Maine) in July. Tickets are stupid expensive but I can’t not go!
Willie Nelson has a guitar that he's had for decades, he says no other guitar can ever sound like his!!! I think he actually has someone whose only job it is, is to protect it!!! POWERFUL song, u outta b singing girl, u got pipes!!!
Someone else suggested Fire Away and I absolutely agree, but you need to do the official music video, which highlights the message of mental health awareness. That's his only song I'd recommend the video over a live version. Tissues nearby for that one! You said you wouldn't be surprised if he started rapping ... there's an interview where he talks about Snoop Dogg being one of his influences, because his music was so real. His influences are so widely varied! I've seen him in concert once and I saw his tour dates for 2023 posted and he's coming back through my area, so I'm doing a happy dance while I wait for the tix to go on sale next week!
Fire Away is Chris Stapleton's only video. There is a video on here titled Chris Stapleton - Making Of The "Fire Away" Music Video that gives some background to it.
check out his early songs. there are 3 vidios form a song writer's cruise that he went on when he was about 25 . those songs are fnatastic. gret a base line for his talent and it just does up from there. also his wife that sings with him does " you are my sunshine" it's not the version from your childhood that's for sure.
Chris Stapleton reaction videos are addictive. Your reactions have quickly become one of my favorites! While any Chris Stapleton performance will move you, the ones including his wife Morgane are the best. Here are a sampling of selections that receive reaction videos less often. Leslie Jordan ft. Chris & Morgane Stapleton - "Farther Along" (Official Video) will “take you to church” Chris Stapleton, Patty Loveless, and Morgane Stapleton Perform 'You'll Never Leave Harlan Alive' Live at CMA Awards 2022 Chris Stapleton - Midnight Train To Memphis and/or Hard Livin’ (Live From SNL Studios/2018) joined by fellow Kentuckian Sturgill Simpson, and accompanied by Chris’ usual band; wife Morgane (harmony & tambourine), J T Cure (bass), Derek Mixon (drums) and Dave Cobb (guitarist/record producer) Chris Stapleton - Devil Always Makes Me Think Twice (LIVE) recorded at the Late Show with Stephen Colbert Chris Stapleton - I Ain't Living Long Like This (Live); LegacyRecordingsVEVO
If you want to see another side to Chris….search for the Jompson Brothers… The River Live. It’s a younger Chris between his Bluegrass and Country phases. The man can literally sing and play anything. This is a great Southern Rock performance. Just another example of how he can play anything with soul and heart in it.
He paid $300 when he bought that guitar. He had to pick mud out of the body and reneck it. It's a 65 year old Gibson LG-2. It's been his primary song writing guitar for years. He wrote this song after a childhood friend lost his battle to cancer. Good people gone way to soon.
I think you’d like Chris & Morgane singing with Leslie Jordan… Leslie did a duets album of church music and the one with the Stapletons is so beautiful
Absolutely nothing like listening to a singer and a guitar; will prove their talent real quick. The only reason Chris is before the cameras and on stage is his wife Morgan; she "encouraged" Chris to show his talent to the world, people already knw he could write songs and play. Thank the Lord he listened to her.
You mentioned the significance of the guitar 🎸 made me think of another artist you will absolutely love. The “Guitar Song” by Jamey Johnson is the story from the guitar perspective. Also Jamey wrote “Give it away” and George Strait recorded it. Awesome
I have watched some awesome performances on this show. Really great format. Metallica with Mylie Cyrus do Nothing Else Matters on the show. First time I realized how good of a singer Mylie is. I probably am spelling her name wrong. Chris is something special ❤️
Want a tear jerker? Check out his song "Fire Away,"...the official music video. The song is the only way to tell the story depicted in the video. Or...the video perfectly fits the song's story. Either way...keep plenty of tissues on the ready.
I've been binge watching your channel for the last couple of days. I love your format and personnelity. Take a look at Chris and his wife before the CMA's. Bluegrass background with the Steeldrivers. Catch their Opry debut or the song "Blue Side of the Mountain".
You should react to Meat Loaf's Paradise by the Dashboard Light, it's fun and theatrical. Just remember that the first line is "I remember every little thing as if it happened only yesterday." The song is being sung 15 or 20 years after the events described. I mention this because most first time listeners miss that little detail and then the end doesn't make sense to them.
Funny you say you wouldn’t be surprised if he could rap. He has said Dr.Dre and Snoop were some of his influences because they were so real with what they were saying.
I hear you enjoy songs with a "story". I would like to suggest one for you. It is a few years old (however recently popular) is Hardy's "Wait in the Truck" featuring Lainey Wilson.
I’ve been watching you when you hardly had any subscribers but I subscribed immediately. Your positivity is infectious and you are right on!!!! As a musician I employ you to check out Jellyroll….specifically his cover of “ I can’t make you love me”….Please live everyday with love and happiness……I’m presently living in Japan. So, much love from the far east.
You would not stop crying with "sometimes I cry" or with "it's a woman's world". Girl you will send a lot of love letters to Chris, and leave your poor husband. Lol
I suggest listening to some of his live tributes to Prince, Aretha Franklin, Tom Petty and James Brown's A Man's world. Like you said please do not put him in a box.
Tom McDonald is an independent rapper you should do a reaction who did one pop song for his girl the song is called ghost he is he had the number one album of last year the album was called the brave there is a song on their called in God we trust the album was also with Adam Calhoun
Chris Stapleton is recognized as an incredibly gifted singer, songwriter, guitarist, and record producer… but it his qualities as a person that elevate him even more. As a songwriter, Chris Stapleton has received 13 ASCAP awards, 7 of them before his breakout Traveler Album in 2015. Check out his 2014 performance of “If It Hadn't Been For Love” as Chris sits with fellow songwriters at the Sundance ASCAP Music Café and casually mentions Adele’s cover of his song. Like me and a lot of other folks, Adele has been a huge Chris Stapleton fan since his time with the Steeldrivers. th-cam.com/video/AF-YClPL28g/w-d-xo.html

Angels are not people actually...Angels are supernatural spiritual beings created by God (Neh 9:6) who can move between heaven and earth (Gen 28:12; cf. John 1:51). Usually they are invisible to human beings, but they can make themselves known either in a form that is indistinguishable from that of humans

Talking about Trigger. The back story and the "lost" story when The IRS came a knocking are legendary.

His song to the Stapleton family dog:
