    I am a mechanic and I found your video very useful, I also own a mechanic shop. Anyway, I checked all my 5 volt ref powers and
    grounds etc, after 2 week of ripping my hair out it was a instrument cluster fault. On older Nissan's their is a "Start Fuse" on this 2010 pathfinder it was built into the ecm. If you check your data pids and check start pid it will say on or off. Mine said on off at times, which led me to PIN 102 Green wire it is suppose to be grounded my the instrument cluster to say its in park. Got to the instrument cluster and PIN7 Green wire at that 24 pin connector circuit board was an issue. Replaced the cluster all is well hope this helps some other folks keep in mind this model does have pcm issues, keys, relay problems etc, I am just sharing my experience. thanks.

    My ‘06 xterra was having the same issue. After finding your video I swapped the ignition relay with fog lamp relay and I’m problem free. Saved me hours.

    I bought a 05 pathfinder and put some $ into it
    And it's doing something similar

    Nice video just a quick note on the nissan wiring diagrams if you look at the right hand side you will see a black HS that means as seen from the harness side and TS would be terminal side that is why it seemed backwards, also the ECM relay in the IPDM is indeed a different kind of relay and according to the manual are not replaceable but they actually are and come out fairly easily but must be replaced with the correct relay. The vdc/traction/abs lights can also come on if the battery is disconnected with the steering wheel not level. so level the steering wheel carry out steering angle learn and g sensor learn in ABS work support first as this is often the issue.

      $3 relays that are not replaceable, $1,500 ECM’s that are either “not repairable” or discontinued, a whole host of other electrical gremlins that can often be a nightmare to diagnose…no wonder many people have lost respect for this vehicle brand

      @@homesold The relays are replaceable and most ecm's can be repaired as long as some home mechanic has not been messing with them.every manufacturer has issues. and most parts go out of production especially after so many years. I can tell you now that pathfinders and xterras are so hard to get your hands on and many places have call lists incase they get one in used.

      @@tonyamercado9013 if powers and grounds to the ECM test good then I would test the network wiring to the ECM and if ok call the ECM assuming there's no communication with it.

      Check obd connector pin 6 and 14 for 60 ohms.

    Thank you sir for your video, by sir i have a problem with my Nissan frontier, security light is on but the is no check engine light on, i check the wires they are ok. It crank but it not start. And i have a code u1000, with communication issue. So i need your help. Thank you

      What computer is reporting the u1000? Are you doing a network scan of all controllers or just the ECM sounds like a security problem. Do you have communication with the security module?

      No i use a scanner to scan, and i have that code

      @kingsleyarizi704 but you didn't answer my questions... what kind of scanner? Did it perform a network scan of all the vehicle controllers? If you are just reading OBD2 codes from the ECM that's pretty useless for this problem. There are at least 8 other controllers in the network. Instrument cluster, steering column module, bcm, etc. It's pretty hard to help you without proper information.

    Wrecker Took my Nissan to Master Mech Shop to have Alternator replaced $240 later they called said ready when to pick it up but would not start three days later after got fed up and had wrecker pick it after being told it needs another alternator,a fuel pump, fuel filter, ECM, catalytic converters, power steering pump and MAPS 💯⁉️😡😠🤬🤯 Took it to my home was going to put charger on the brand new battery found that the IDIOT MECHANICS HAD NEGLECTED TO TIGHTEN THE POSITIVE CLAMP ⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️ TIGHTENED IT AND IT STARTED RIGHT UP 😠SO SICK AND TIRED OF THESE SCAMMERS THAT HOW NICE SHOPS WITH ALL THE THE EQUIPMENT BUT ALL THEY DO IS THROW PARTS AT YOUR VEHICLE THATS WHY PEOPLE GO POSTAL OR WORSE ON THEM 👍BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING AT LEAST CHECK THAT THE BATTERY connections are TIGHT !!! MECHANICS,LAWYERS,CAR SALESPERSONS MOSTLY ON COMMISSION ARE OUT TO CLEAN YOU OUT DANG IT 🥴
