Pip is BIG! Large enough rocks and driftwood are good items to go with when a turtle doesn't work well with plants in the tank. It'll get easier to decorate for Pip with the upgrade. Last time I moved, my map turtle was watching everyone and judging us throughout the moving process (she's a drama queen archetype). Are you going with a stock tank or large aquarium for Pip's adult enclosure? Looks like she'll need over 100 gallons of water

Why watch later?
maybe dipping the dropped scutes in UV resin and hardening it to make a necklace or charm would be cool! They really are very pretty and an ethical way to do that :> I also like the idea of maybe dipping a few dropped feathers in a resin crystal shape and hardening it up as a "memory stone" to have when our furbabies eventually pass. Objects like that help me be able to find some peace/always have a momento, if that makes sense. Where its still classy but very personal. Just a thought.
This reminds me of the guy that put a dandelion with all the fuzzy seeds in a resin sphere

Ah I am glad they are all fine after moving. I understand how stressful it is to move animals with you, especially the ones like birds that are so easy to stress. Fish are also difficult but your water cycle should be just fine :) I had to almost empty my 200l aquarium last year when I added too much fertilizer and got green water - yes my fault - but I emptied filter in new water plus I added some old water from other tank and everyone are fine, fish, shrimp, nobody got affected except the algae that never came back happily. Newts and frogs, haha they really do not care. I have mantises and I appreciate how careless they are, as much as I love and appreciate highly intelligent animals, those without too much brain power are way easier to care for :D Also...Pip grew a lot!

Congrats on the move. I have an idea you can use those scoots for. I seen something similar with reptile skins where they coated in a circular protective layer of resin and turn it into a necklace and other kinds of jewelry or art.
Also the idea of painting a tiny turtle on the turtle scoots gives me endless amounts of Serotonin 🐢

A smaller cage is good as a travel cage. I have one and it fits right in my “birdie” stroller or as most people call it a dog stroller.
Toys/decorations are made to be played with and taken apart

Best wishes for you and your family in your new home. I know it's very stressful to move home as I have done it many times in my life! Now you can take time to chill out with your pets and enjoy your new place. Your dog seems to really love your new back garden.
BTW, if you have warm summers you can house you turtle in your backyard in a large concrete mixing tub or special turtle tub. They will even hibernate in winter if they water is deep enough and you don't get long periods of sub zero temps.

I forget how big red eared sliders get. I'm so use to only seeing juveniles because people kill them with poor husbandry before they get to this size

Congrats on the move! Glad to see everything went well! Little concerned with the placement of the bird cage though? You shouldn't place a bird cage next a door since they can get sick from the draft (or whatever it's in english) that opening and closing it causes. Unless you're not planning on using that door a lot and just keeping it open.

Hi! I Love how you take care of animals and things, and if you can can you help me with something? If you know how to care for snakes, I could use some major help, basically, I got a dekay brown snake (small lad, love her with all my heart) but the seller didnt tell me that they were gravid! And so out came a very large batch of about 17 baby snakes, I dont know how to get them a proper home where they will be loved and not in some abusive petstore where they will be neglected, the only petstore near my is petco! And I heard they are terrible :(

I have an axolotl that was burned previously due to too high anomia and now his white not black. He's tank water has been perfect for months. Does anyone has an idea why he is white? It's it permanent or will he turn black again?

Honestly I moved recently to and I have fish that recently gave birth ( well not recently I could see them properly but there still small since there tetras.) but I couldnt get them right away because I dident live so close to my house so they were there for 6 weeks and I was honestly really worried they would be dead so when I came back to yk drain the water and collect them they were all alive luckily even my snails were alive. So then I struugled to get them all mainly because my tank was so big and they could swim fast. Tho everything was coverd in alge so thats probably how they dident starve to death ( and most luckliy ate some of there kids. Survial of the fittest.) So I had to spray the tank with a hose and clean the live plants 1 by one. Theres probably a better way to clean them but most of the plants broke during the cleaning
So then I put the tank in a black bag put it in a car and drove bk to the new house. And it was heavy and fuck but managed to put it where I wanted it to go. Put the fish in a smaller tank for now (which there not in now there in the bigger one which is the same big one your goldfish are in I think.) and yea thats all I think. But well done with the moving you did great! and cant wait to see more videos of your's.
