I can hear the left crash at 2:22, but you clearly hit it again at 2:25 and theres no sound. seems a little fishy to me. also seems like song was slowed down when you played it then sped up again
The reason for this is simple...He doesnt own 6 camera or however many Angles there were. So He does 6 Takes and records only the Audio of one. And Like you He plays every Take a Little different. Theres nothing "fishy" about it

I"m working on learning this piece right now so i've been watching alot of matt griener videos lately, and i like to check out other peoples cover versions of it as well and so far this is the most authentic cover i've seen. For all i can tell its exactly the way griener plays it and with the exception of a little rushing here and there it was very clean...Nice job bro!!!
Such a great cover, it's good knowing that he puts all this gear to great use rather than it being a waste. If my son or daughter were this dedicated to drumming i'd buy them a kit like that in a heartbeat.

@Bmartell1021 Best sticks are some decently thick ones from Vic Firth,. That specific stick manufacturer prides itself in selling pitch matched sticks. Which is a what is needed in a good drum stick.

A sign of good drummers that some people can overlook is stick control. Never once in this video did I his fingers change hold on the sticks, even after tosses. And he uses his wrists. Besides that, it was legit drumming. Keep on rolling, from another drummer!
@knockemouttimmy he has seven camera angles but not seven cameras. in the initial drum rcording thats what he played and thats what you hear. but on that particular camera angle and playthrough he didnt hit the china. bottom line is he recorded the song on camera many times and mashed together the camera angles
