As an audiophile, I really appreciate this tip at 11:21. This is the only review for the Seltos of the dozens I have watched that puts emphasis on audio tuning and lets the viewer really hear and FEEL the speaker performance, which is very important to me. Thank you!
Great and thorough review Steve. I just bought a 2024 Seltos Sx in the States. The only thing I wish it had that our friends up north get is the heated steering wheel that you showed. My 10 year old Kia Soul had a heated steering wheel which was great in our Wisconsin winters. Cmon Kia lol.
Thank you! I'm still always so surprised at the differences in features between North American and international models. Heated steering wheel should at least be an option in US models but I'll point that out in my next Seltos review to try and pressure Kia to add it in ;) How are you liking it so far compared to the Soul?
Great in-depth review! Fellow Canuck here. I’m very interested in the Seltos but just don’t understand why Kia Canada only offers a 5 year warranty here rather than 10 years in the US. If it was 10 years, I might give it a shot, but currently leaning towards a Crosstrek instead which is likely to be more reliable long term.
Thank you! Small world, are you east or west coast? The warranty difference is odd for sure. If it was a difference of a year or two it would make sense but double is wild. There's always the option for an extended warranty though if you need the peace of mind. Haven't gotten into the Subaru world yet but I've heard good things about the Crosstrek. Have a few neighbours with them too
@@CarsWithSteve SX trim levels are used by Hyundai lmao....Sx is 2nd top varaint and Sx(Optional) is Top trim.....In KIA Seltos HTX and HTX+ are top trims for Naturally Aspirated Engines and GTX GTX+ for Turbo petrol variants
@@CarsWithSteve Seltos was originally made for India thats why so many trims are there.....Ig It was an afterthought for west that's why they took Hyundai trim names lmao
I Have The Same Variant In India As Engine Being 1.5NA But I'm Thinking To Raise Suspension Height By 1 to 1.5 Inch How do you think It's gonna look. Ofcourse The Ride's Gotta Improve. I'm more worried about the outlook of the car, can you please help me?
It would look different for sure and would make it a bit more off-road capable.. but few issues you'll run into. There's going to be a higher centre of gravity so more likely to roll on sharper turns, it'll be harder on the suspension system, axles and joints. Plus it'll have a negative impact on fuel economy and will probably void your warranty for the drivetrain and suspension.

Think you're the first person who has ever commented they've appreciated that info, glad it helped someone out!

Our indian bound seltos gets Panoramic Sunroof from 2nd top varaint itself
That’s good to know! Are the trim levels named the same on your side of the world?

So weird how they have such different names - difference in translation maybe? haha

Nice car but not digging the color though. Another great video as always 😊
Definitely a funky color! What would be your go to choice?
