Yes . Crowded Skys 1960 was Just on TV . Dana Andrews was the Pilot of the Airliner in that 1960 Movie . Zimbalist Jr was In a Fighter Jet that crashed into the Airliner in the 1960 Film . The 1974 Movie Portrays Zimbalist as the Pilot of The Airliner . George Kennedy is a Cop just standing there in the 1960 Movie . I did not see Kevin Bacon in either Movie .
Long before computer animation, yes they filmed a real 747 flying through the mountains and transferring a person footage towards the aircraft. Of course the close ups were filmed in the studio, but the technique of filming real footage over computer animation was the best way to make a movie more exciting.
lol yeah they might have had real stuntmen on a zipline but the head on collision with the other plane might be the fakest looking thing I have ever seen.
It was. She was wonderful in this. My fav of all the airport movies easily. It was suspenseful with great acting and stars. A classic that has and will endure, Karen Black "Nancy Pryor" made that movie.
Thanks for the four minute version. Now I don't have to see the damn thing. One question....why have a pilot try to do the transfer without a parachute? Wouldn't he wear a parachute just in case something goes wrong?
I've never been able to figure out what was wanted with Sid Ceasar, Myrna Loy, Conrad Janis, Norman Fell, Jerry Stiller, Beverly Garland, Larry Storch (he was a reporter on the ground). Poor old Myrna looks like she's thinking "how did I get into this?" through the whole thing.
Crowded Skies 1960 was just on the TV . In that Movie Zimbalist Jr was in a Fighter Jet that crashed into an Airliner piloted by Dana Andrews . In Airport 75 Dana Andrews crashes into an Airliner piloted By Zimbalist . George Kennedy can be seen as a Cop standing in the Background at the House the Kids trashed in the 1960 Movie . In airport 75 he plays Al Petroni . It Makes you Wonder how many other actors were in Both Films ?
Caray...yo vi esta peli de niño y aun la recuerdo la trama la tension y grandes actores que salian como linda blair, charlton heston erick estrada...muy buena Donde puedo verla completa🏆👌✈
reminds .eof a movie I saw that was made in the 90s? I can't remember the name but the pilots got struck by lightning! This stuff doesn't scare me! Still love flying!
Know what they say bro? See a broad, get to dat bodiac? LAY 'EM DOWN N SMACK 'EM YAK 'EM! Col' gotta be...yo sheet! Excuse me stewardess..I speak Jive A Hospital? What is it? It's a big building with patients, but that's not important right now... Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit sniffin' glue Bad news, fog's getting thicker. And Leon's getting L-l-l-largerrrr! Me John! Big Tree! You ever seen a grown man naked? When Kramer hears about this the shit's gonna hit the fan
Such a tacky film. One minute the aircraft is rolling and then it's dead still. The 'Jet Helicopter' bit is terrible and how could a light aircraft crash into a jumbo at cruising altitude! Cheesy as hell but that's Hollywood, scaring the flying public!
Dana Andrews flew the small plane that collided with the 747 Jumbo Jet. He played Ted Striker in "Zero Hour" the main influence for "Airplane!".

That singing nun is freakin' Helen Reddy! "One of those Hollywood types, Oh! you mean an actress?" LOL

fitzpatrickgf I wish they'd still do it today!!!!!
Back when Movies were almost REAL... Unlike the FAKE Crap today!
lol yeah they might have had real stuntmen on a zipline but the head on collision with the other plane might be the fakest looking thing I have ever seen.
Brilliant "What does it read honey" lol
LOL, nice montage. No wonder they made Airplane movies later.
I watched this movie so many times on VHS¡ pure suspense
Really entertaining edits! Thanks for the upload!

The 70s was the 747 decade
Thanks for putting this together
Yeah, but it was incomplete.
George Kennedy is the jinx, lol, he's in every one of em ;)
I keep thinking of all of the parodies from that airplane comedy.......It's hard to take this seriously.......
I remember this movie very well.
I miss the 70's.
This movie rocks!
+Mike Rogers Best of all the Airport movies.
lol, that editing job, good work!

+Chris Thorton I believe the use of a parachute would've impeded his ability to get into the hole that was in the 747. That's my thinking anyway.
What could go wrong....oh....God Damn it Nancy!
One of my favorites of all time! I want the whole movie!!! I have it on VHS but dont have a vhs player anymore
Bekka Sawyer if you have the money and a android device. You can get it on Google play movies
2:06 "This is your big moment, baby. Give it all you got!" thinks the woman in light blue.
Crap now I have to find the full feature so I can watch it again its been years but now I want to watch the whole movie LOL
R.I.P. Karen 'Nancy 'Pryor' Black, and thank you.
Well done, ZZ2C!
I have _not_ seen this movie but it reminds me a lot of *_Airplane!_* 1980. 🤣🤣🤣

actually I thought this was well made, and a good movie
should have just let it crash into the mountain
I member that one fried everything too and the wires were sparking the plane had flew automatic in different directions
well done!
soooo cheesy but soooo good.
always wondered why they didn't use a C-141 instead of a helicopter.
Cleared to land, runway 35 , honey
Pass the ham and the cheese, please.
Awe gee....where’s the landing. What happens?!? 😉
The singing nun!

I emailed the Vatican. Am now awaiting a reply.
Why not a C-141?

I'd rather watch an AirPORT movie than an AirPLANE movie any day. Airplane just gets old.
airplane was satire of airplane movies.
l
l
CosmicApe2 I love em both!!!
Airplane was for comedy lovers.
Charelton Heston was the WORST actor of all time! However, Karen Black could act!!!!!!! There's no one left to fly the fucking plane!!!!
Note to aspiring actors who can't act: Say all gun laws should be repealed, and you'll always have a captive audience for your movies!
Take it easy, honey.
oh my gaawd! Gof...Oh how society has gone tits up crazy!
Oh I get it..Heston was the gun rights leader
Rob Thompson It took you this long to realize anyone responded to your post?
At least the used REAL Aircraft in the Flying scenes.. Unlike the FAKE Crap Today!
Very bad editing job cuts off the story halfway through what a joke of a video
Holy cow, this looks like a stupid movie. What a waste of screen talent.
Such a tacky film. One minute the aircraft is rolling and then it's dead still. The 'Jet Helicopter' bit is terrible and how could a light aircraft crash into a jumbo at cruising altitude! Cheesy as hell but that's Hollywood, scaring the flying public!
Because the 747 was descending and on final approach there numbskull.
Karen Black is worth it .
