    So comical to see hatchlings with their large, unopened eyes and bobbing heads, opening their beaks wide for food at any sign of movement. Interesting video, well done, you, for capturing this.

      They are so funny! I want some as toys. Or as slaves. They will fail every task and poop everywhere, so i would be forced to microwave them. Since their skin is so thin, they will explode and become popbirb.
      And then i will eat them.

      She wasn't kept away she would come down and eat the shells and feed them. I made sure the "disturbance" was minimal. I've raised LOTS of bluebirds and many will still come back to visit. I have one that likes to sit on my bathroom window and peck at the glass.

    how sweet you have developed a relationship with the babies!

  • @neildusseault8404
    @neildusseault8404 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Earlier in the video I heard an adult bird chirping, perhaps the mother of these babies, screaming from a nearby tree, "LEAVE! LEAVE!"
    While this is interesting to watch, it's also painful to watch knowing that in order to capture this live, you had to interfere with nature. Instead, consider installing a GoPro or some other digi-cam. Even an old cell phone can be propped up and left alone to record this.
    Every movement of these baby birds and each peep takes incredible amount of energy they simply don't have as newborns. Their mother usually assists with the hatching process, so that less energy is used from the baby, and feeds them immediately. With little to no feathers, they are also probably cold. That too loses energy trying to maintain adequate body temperature.
