The Paris Las Vegas Versailles Tower is just...WEIRD. Is it really Paris, or just a nicer Horseshoe?

Things will improve tremendously once the pedestrian walkway between Paris and the ‘new’ tower is constructed. Presently, it’s still attached to the Horseshoe even though it’s now property of Paris.

Thank you for the video! I watch all of your reviews. I stayed at Paris in July and really enjoyed it, although the sound transfer between rooms was problematic. More recently I stayed at Aria (even after seeing your video) but wish I went back to Paris. Aria had better soundproofing, but the room and casino floor were so beat up and dirty.

With all that walking, and the Horeshoe Fire Escape Diagram on the back of the door, I don't know how Caesar's can call that a Paris room (and most likely be charging Paris prices).

Being a local and having stayed numerous times at Paris, I was surprised to learn they took over the old Bally's South Tower. As the two here suggest and correctly so, you really are staying in the now current Horseshoe, only with a Paris motif. At least until that walkover connection bridge is built. Very strange.

The room was decent and the hotel has great theming and restaurants. No way would I do that crazy walk to the Versailles Tower . Way too far and doesn’t feel like you’re at the Paris . Great review .

Just stayed at the tower of Versailles. I guess alot sympathize with your take. Our room was cheap, we were upgraded to a larger suite, 115$ for the night and our room was fully furnished. It does NOT feel like you’re at the Paris. We arrived at the main Paris hotel and were told to go the Horseshoe. Good thing is that you don’t have to walk so far, we were able to check in at the desk by the elevators that lead directly to the tower. First time here so thought we’d have easy access to the main Paris hotel but you don’t.

Just got back from a week stay at the Versailles Tower. Your review is spot on, especially about the shower shelf missing! I found the Internet sketchy and the TV worked only half the time, so I don’t know if that’s the same tech issue as the Internet, but it basically did not function. But it was a beautiful picture when it did! And resort fees are 56 bucks a night. I consider myself actually a horseshoe casino, hotel guest and not Paris guest. I used the horseshoe pool and gym. most importantly, if you stay in this tower, make sure you have a room with an odd number: because you definitely want to face the side with the Eiffel Tower and not the side that faces the nightclub at the Cromwell hotel that pounds music until the early morning hours.

I can't understand why they pushed to do the changeover from the Jubilee Tower to the Versaille Tower so quickly. It would have made much more sense - and been better for guest experience - to wait for the pedestrian walkway to have been completed. That's a hell of a long walk from Paris Check-In to that corner of the Horseshoe.

    • @ShowMeVegas
      @ShowMeVegas  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

Money. They have the rooms finished, so they want to start getting that higher Paris rate for them even though you're really not staying at Paris if you book one of these rooms. The more we've thought about it (after our stay) the more of a farce it seems. It's almost like they need to close it off to Horseshoe after they finish the new skybridge, or else it will never feel like Paris.

The history of the fire always kept me away from Bally's and Horseshoe. Now the lengthy trek from Paris? Seems to be the stepchild suburb.

As of right now…Paris is directing people who are staying in the Versailles Tower to check in at the Horseshoe front desk/ kiosks and NOT at the Paris front desk. The elevators that service the newly renamed tower are a very short walk from Horseshoe’s front desk lobby, to the right of Nosh Cafe and the Poker Room. I’ve stayed here many times and love the building primarily because it does have a small footprint to navigate! And yes - the hike from Paris front doors all the way into Horseshoe is a loooong trek.

Not completely correct as far as check-in is concerned. You can register for this new tower right at Horseshoe. They have set up a separate registration counter for it and a welcome desk for the new tower in Horseshoe. Overall, though, Paris' gain is Horseshoe's loss. The latter has been going downhill since it stopped being Bally's. Slot machines are old, not much in terms of entertainment, no lounges with live music. Sports Book at Horseshoe is crappy. Now they have it confined to a take-out counter. The old sports book is a video arcade. I think they are going to remake the Jubilee tower and then implode Horseshoe

This is an awful room. I’m here now and am absolutely pissed. it sounds like it’s above a nightclub with booming music and flashing lights.
So first off, tried to check in at 3pm and the line was literally a 3 hour wait, so we checked our bags and decided to come back late to avoid the lines. 10pm we came back and the line was still long. (Self check in could “not read” my license, so had to wait in line) finally reach someone 2 hours later, at midnight. Asked for a bathtub and was told, yes, you have a lovely claw foot tub. Nope. She flat out lied. The decorators of Motel
6 must have decorated these rooms. They are awful and have no Parisian feel. I called down to the front desk very unhappy, and was told these are the new rooms and all will be redecorated like this soon. Can’t be moved as it’s past midnight. WHAT?? That makes no sense. I will never stay here again. I’ve been staying here for 20 years and this room feels like a cheap motel. Cheap bedding, cheap mattresses and tacky decor. Not at all what you’d expect. Not to mention you walk through horseshoe to get to the “tower”. If I wanted to stay at the crappy horseshoe, I would have booked at the horseshoe. And naming this tower Versailles is a total joke. Whoever named this dump must be having a good laugh.

If you’re staying in the Versailles tower you’re supposed to check in at the Horseshoe front desk.

Not according to our emails from Paris. And as usual the kiosk didn’t work.

Actually they’re queens, and the room is larger than most Vegas rooms at 459 square feet. We still wouldn’t go back. Thanks for watching!

I really don't get it do people really pay to stay in room when coming to Vegas I come to Vegas to be active not stay in room what matters to me is logistics of a property so can get from room to excitement as simply as possible I'd rather stay in resorts tower in HS then have walk from Paris to that room tower.i stayed in that tower last year and enjoyed it but the ease getting to room from HS casino helped.just my 2cents worth

It looks like the new rooms still have only two small not very comfortable pillows each. That's my biggest complaint for the Paris Hotel.

Admittedly we didn't get all the footage we should have and the room doesn't look great in this video. The two queen configuration makes it look smaller too. In actuality these rooms are larger than most of the standard rooms on the strip at slightly more than 450 square feet.

They've been selling these rooms as "Paris" rooms for almost two months, so no I don't think it's too early at all. In fact, it's important that people considering the Versailles tower right now know this information. Thanks for watching.

Las Vegas has been becoming weird these days with not just the non themed casinos but with greed, resort fees and homelessness. We’re supposed to make Las Vegas the greatest destination on earth and bring the city to justice! I had mixed feelings when Bally’s was becoming Horseshoe, the blue and red lighting looked really cool on the towers.
