This works in 1.21.3 without extra chunk loading thanks to Ender Pearl changes. You still do need to put the pressure plate on the other chunk just like in the video. I built the "Self-fixing" Chunk Loader one, so I just have to place an enderpearl next time. Other than that, same rules applies as what the video stated.

Great tutorial, got a 300 day hardcore world in 1.20 and going to be updating to look for trial chambers in 1.21, but really don't feel like walking back thousands of blocks, this will be super useful!
@kramsdell_ in 1.21 this method does work in the end. But the chunk loader design in the video won't work in the end. You'll have to use an end chunk loader.
@kramsdell_ also in 1.21 you can also teleport interdimensionally so you can just build this in the overworld and when you use the fishing rod in the end, you'll be teleported to overworld.
This is not work in the latest snapshot(24w37a) since ender pearl now are chunk loader(with single loaded chunk and 8 lazy chunk), but it is easy to fix by putting pressure plate in lazy chunk and use restone to control the trapdoor (or just do it at chunkborder so that pressure plate is in lazy chunk while trapdoor is in loaded chunk), and by this fix, no more chunk loader needed to build.

The second portal is just to go back to overworld without loading the stasis chamber. If you load the stasis chamber, then the trapdoor gets triggered. Also you just need to make the 2nd portal far away so that when you enter the overworld from 2nd portal, it doesn't load the stasis chamber and that depends on your render distance.
Mine is teleporting me back to the stasis chamber as soon as I enter the nether, any idea why? I did confirm that the pressure plate is 2 chunks away and the stasis chamber is 1 chunk from the portal. I am also trying to do this in multiplayer
@@chunkblasteridrk if it matters but while ago I heard about creative players loading chunks differently (dont know if its true or not) i just changed to survival using the pressure plate 2 chunk away and the stasis 1 chunk away and it worked
Omg! I was testing for like an hour and not understanding why it wasn’t working until I saw that you need to place trapdoor and pressure plate in the different chunks
chunk loaders work in mp, the only problem could be other players loading it, oh and you have to consider the servers render distance not your own so make sure the exit portals is a good couple blocks away. (did no testing tho for mp)

I'm on a server that we created with friends and I tried, the problem is that the fishing rod doesn't TP me when I activate it, and even if I don't activate it it will teleport me automatically when I arrive near the place where I made the TP point. Spigot breaks some vanilla mechanics maybe that's why it doesn't work properly. And the area with the trapdoor setup shouldn't be loaded by player. It should only be loaded by the chunk loader.
When you say not to go near the setup, how far is near, how far away should i stay away or like how close can i be to the setup without it being ruined?

With the chunk loader the hopper minecart is being constantly pushed out too far by the other minecarts when the machine gets activated causing the mine carts to just drop onto the portal but never end up recycling. I followed the video to the exact

I'm playing in an aternos vanilla server in 1.21. For some reason the chunk loader doesn't work, the minecarts don't come back, instead, after they break in the fire, they generate a new portal in the overwolrd. How do I fix this?
@@Frawggo Yep, for some reason ow nether portals can generate a new portal in the nether that's a little too far from the /8 coordinate? no idea why it only generated a third portal when the minecarts went in first but not when I got in first. I made a new portal in the ow and went to the nether to see if the coordinates matched, the portal was generated about 10 blocks off so I moved it and it worked. You'll need to keep the setup away from any player's render distance. Also I don't think that playing on 2 chunk render distance is a viable option as it can break other farms. You can use a cat teleporter instead or move the setup far away.

I tried it in other servers and it happens to work. But in a specific server, it doesn't for some reason. Please try to answer this issue (btw the server version is Paper 1.20.1, but it happens to work on other servers with same version. Also, I tried to find the solution myself, and observed that the fishing line just gets off the pressure plate and nothing even happens)
Paper servers can vary highly due to configurations. You can try a different chunk loader. I recommend using this for paper: th-cam.com/video/FosDMBCaDh0/w-d-xo.html If that doesn't work then you probably need to change some server configurations to make it work which only the server owner can do.

You could use wireless redstone but that is very unreliable in singleplayer.

What do you mean by correct axis?
Means if the portal in overworld is facing north-south direction then in the nether also it should be facing north-south.

And if you build it in end in java edition, you'll need to do some modifications to make it work.

That's because both the portals are not linked properly. Coordinates on portal in nether should be [Coordinates of portal in OW/8]

Did you make it in the spawn chunks?
If not then verify the chunk distance between the trapdoor and chunk loader again. Maybe you got that wrong.
The same has happened to me on fabric 1.21 in multiplayer but only when my friend was around the chunk of the stasis chamber
@@squiddy5276 Yeah that's because it shouldn't be loaded. It'll only work when it's in lazy chunks. So a player shouldn't be around it and this also won't work when built in spawn chunks.

I tried it in other servers and it happens to work. But in a specific server, it doesn't for some reason. Please try to answer this issue (btw the server version is Paper 1.20.1, but it happens to work on other servers with same version. Also, I tried to find the solution myself, and observed that the fishing line just gets off the pressure plate and nothing even happens)
Paper servers can vary highly due to configurations. You can try a different chunk loader. I recommend using this for paper: th-cam.com/video/FosDMBCaDh0/w-d-xo.html
If that doesn't work then you probably need to change some server configurations to make it work which only the server owner can do.

@@Frawggo i play on multiplayer, paper server, its a normal vanilla server that i play with my friends, i just have some normal mods, i play with fabric and some other stuff if thats relevant

@@Frawggo the nether portal. Once I get my rod and the pearl setted up and go through the portal, I just instantly get teleported back to the chamber.

it's not working in 1.21 it was in 1.20 but now when I cast the rod on the plate and go through to the nether as soon as I get through the portal it tp's me back anyone know a fix ?

I just tested it in 1.21 myself and it's working fine.
@FroggoMC yeah funny enough I bin testing it on my single player world and it worked but on the server I play which is virtually vanilla it dosent it must be the server so thanks for your help I don't know why it's not working now the only thing that changed was the 1.21 update ill maybe see if the direction it's built in matters I'll let you know if I manage to get it working on the server
@@Frawggoafter talking with the server owner I have found that he changed from fabric to paper and although we looked into it and changed the paper yml to allow ender pearl stasis it still dosent work could it be the chunk loader as I know some look like there working but on paper they don't I'm clutching at straws here I don't know how to fix it

Another way is to use a boat **not for teleporting its for the warden to not sense you**
Actually there is also a boat teleport glitch but it only works on server.

the warden is literally so easy to avoid though, just book it 50 blocks in any direction as soon as you hear the fourth shrieker
