I'm 65 and a retired Grandfather, i think you videos look amazing. the products are like watching a fashion show of hardware. I love the format of your show, it's like hanging out with another HI-FI addict. I love the look of those speakers. I could never buy a speaker that sound great but look like blah. It's like buying a suite that fits great but looks like crap.
What a strong and funky intro! I would fallen out of my chair, but thankfully I was on my couch 😆 Loved it! I think these might be the first speakers with an AMT like tweeter that I like the look. I usually find dome tweeters to be just much more pleasant to the eyes.
Looks very nice. Priced very expensive. However, detail measurements are need to prove all appraises. Monitor Audio needs to send them to Erin's audio corner or ASR for detailed measurements. KEF provides whites paper with measurements very close to the measured by Erin's audio corner.
Nice review! I have an interest in these as well as the Quad Revela 1 - any advice on picking between the two? You’d mentioned that the Quads were slightly edgier in the highs but I’m not concerned about that based on other reviews I’ve read. What about tonality and warmth differences between the two? Is one version easier to drive than the other, understanding that both probably thrive with more oomph?
I had them on all the time, and yes when I was sat on my couch and working, with volume at a tolerable level so I could concentrate, I found them to be just as good. Mind you I had them paired with the Evo 150 for this. I find, that usually a more powerful amp makes low level listening better.

I totally agree! Fit and finish matter. And thanks for the kind words!
Thank you. I really enjoy your videos. Seems like everyone now is into specs and measurements.
Yeah, to each their own. But for me it takes the fun out if it.
Long time audiophile, reader, and viewer. I am smitten by your videos. You appear very reasonable and transparent. Keep it up. Don't change.
Thank you! I really appreciate it!

Haha! Thanks, I dabble with making beats so I figured I’d use them for my intros! And yeah, these speaker look pretty awesome!
Excellent! TY!
You’re welcome!
I own the Gold 100! Monitor Audio for life!!!
Amazing, you’re lucky!
@@0102studio Even better is that i pair them with a Synthesis A100 Titan and GoldenEar SuperSub
You had me at petty please. You got your sub. Now make me proud 😊
For you, anything! Haha!

Yeah, I’m pretty sure Monitor Audio does their own measurements when they make a speaker.
@@0102studio provide to the potential consumers then just as KEF did. I am older MA silver RS1 owner.

I’m doing a second dive on the revela 1’s as I listened to then in a different space. If you can wait a week or two, it’ll be up then!
@Taps Das When can we buy the new Cambridge EXA100❓
I’m sure it will be in stock soon! I can’t wait to get my hands on one!
Very nice review! Do you think that these MA speakers are good at low level - moderate level long listening periods? Thanks for sharing.

Hi, I think the Golds are more beautiful!I wouldn't trade the Golds for that.
I like them both!
Please provide the details on that Souvenirs album you showed. I’d like to check it out.
Etherwood - Souvenirs, Ulterior Motive Remix.
By any chance were you at the Toronto Audio Fest on Sunday?
Alas, I didn’t make it Sunday. I was there in Friday!
Honestly monitor sized speakers are my favorite, as i own the arendals thx monitors.

Same for me, love my kef reference 1 meta! Don't want any other speakers anymore these are all I need! The bookshelf speakers are exceptional.
