This was "hauntingly beautiful" 🥰 It's a stripped version of "Love You Still" with only the cello, piano and Morissette's voice (and some background vocals near the end which are also Morissette's, including the whistle) and yet it brings out so much emotions, that even Mori felt it, did you notice she almost broke down mid-song and that concerned look from her husband? She also got teary-eyed while listening to the recording, she said during their conversation, "I'm crying!". Well, because it's personal to her, and also because of the accompaniment instruments' sound evoke that feeling. Thank you, Monica, for featuring this. I agree with you that sometimes, it is more an enriching experience to just listen, immerse yourself in, and appreciate the beauty of a song being delivered by a great singer, than doing the analysis and technical breakdown and segment-by-segment review of a performance like this.
Monica in this version Morissette finally she cried, it's so related song to Queen Morissette, they co written with husband Dave for her father maybe not like her marrriage 4 years ago and they not yet see each other till now, the lyrics so beautiful melted my heart when I learned about the connection to my idol Mori "do you still think of me when you seat down for coffee" "nobody's right, nobody's wrong" "when we come face to face I really know what to say but my eyes give it all the way" "I still love you Please react to Morissette PHOENIX 10th Anniversary Digital Concert part 1 to 5 (make it part by part) during pandemic, fantastic concert, she so good real voice and talents of Morissette Thank you so much
Oh,I was about to cry not knowing the real meaning, that is sad,💔 I react to Phoenix, I belive it is the same that you ate talking about, during the pandemic 👍🥰🇧🇷
Thanks Monica. This version of Love Youi Still is hauntingly beatiful and poignant! It is amazing that Mori can get through this song with so much emotion in her voice that it seems like she is about to completely break down at any moment. Knowing the backstory about this song makes me almost breakdown whenever I hear it. We love you Morissette!!❤❤❤❤
Love You Still was the first song ever written (and produced) by Morissette (with her husband Dave Lamar). The song is about Mori's relationship with her father who broke off the relationship with Mori because he apparently did not approve of Dave. Mori and Dave truly seem made for each other, so this is hard to understand. However, Mori herself does not publicly speak poorly of her father, so I think that those of us who love Morissette should just pray for Mori and Dave and for healing of those family relationships. Thank you Monica for always supporting Mori with your nice reactions.
@@jimbusch5266oh that is sad, some how I knew it was not about a romantic relantioship and was about to cry, thanks for the information and also, thanks for watch 🥰
