    I think Rike had the best quality / price balance for maximum profit. Sweet tolerances for the price to. Nice video btw!

      I feel this way about them now … in the past I had some pretty bad examples come through.. this was definitely a win for them. I was skeptical at 1st but was pleasantly surprised. Thanks for stopping by

    Very good review and possibility of the only one that compares the Socom Bravo to the original Marfione custom Socom Bravo.
    Got mine yesterday, full tanto serrated ... what a great knife.

    The Rike time? Really? Fun fact, the sub frame lock was going to be carried by Mortal Kombat’s Sub Zero, but was put on ice due to a dispute with Cold Steel.. Nice watch, can’t wait for the review.

    I was able to handle a couple socom’s at the ccks last for the first time and I really liked them. I didn’t pick one up cause I had other priorities but I am looking on the Facebook groups now for one now. Great video dude,,, pretty much nailed it. I was amazed when I realized it was made in China!!! I had nooo idea that kind of quality was being done from there production outfits.

      Ya I was pleasantly surprised as well. Rike knives usually doesn’t leave me with the best impressions .. but this is probably the bast thing they ever made. I really appreciate you watching! 🤟

    I carried a socom delta for a while (looks pretty much the same as these) but the thing that annoyed me was the thumbstud/blade stop would pinch my nitrile gloves every time I slow rolled it open. That and the really high lockbar tension got me to move on to something else.

    I’m really torn apart about expensive knifes. And expensive is for me over 300 Dollar’s. Does a 300 Dollar knife cut or preform worse than a 700+ knife? I don’t think so. Only thing we pay for is luxury and brand name.

    • @Watchandcutgearchannel
      @Watchandcutgearchannel  ปีที่แล้ว

      I don’t think ppl buy more expensive knives because they cut better. I like expensive knives because I love the artistic touch.. materials used to elevate the appearance.. in some cases, I’ve made very good friends out of some custom knife makers and love to support them.
      If you’re just buying a knife for cutting performance only, you can really do fine with anything around around 100-150 bucks … super steals do what they advertise to do but people have overhyped them over the years so I don’t get enamored on cutting performance specs too much if anything it’s better to just learn how to sharpen
      Even some of the most well-known custom knife makers, I’m sad to say, aren’t really making anything much better performance wise, it’s all about the art, and the unique construction in build. You don’t have to be into that to be a knife collector, though.
