Interesting. I tried filling two years ago but they had a valve inside them to stop them being re filled. I did discover that the USA didn't have those valves back then but we did. So I didn't bother trying again as I presumed all had the valves. Now I've made an adapter to fill normal Airsoft green gas bottles back up with propane. I did find you could get more gas into your standard bottles by freezing them. Keep up the good vids👍
Be interested in seeing how the Jaeger connector goes onto the coleman propane bottle. Any leaks expected during connection? Also be interested in a close up of the pipe to connect the Flogas to the coleman bottle. Ultimately would love to see the flogas in action (what fps, and how many shots you can get out of a refill coleman bottle vs new coleman bottle). Great video thanks for posting 👍
Definitely interested in part 2. Not only comparing the one you filled Vs filled at the Coleman's factory. But also compared with popular branded Airsoft gas. All through the chrono
Those bottles are rated to hold 465g of propane, took some digging but allegedly only refilling the large branded ones is illegal, the disposable ones are not illegal to fill though selling the fill adaptors can get you prosecuted apparently as happened in 2013. So IF you're going to fill your own bottles I would highly suggest you do it by weight to ensure there is sufficient head room for expansion when back up to temp, Coleman make their bottles fairly robust with redundancy after a few incidents of yanks blowing themselves up (hence why it says don't refill) but I would still definitely suggest sticking it on a scale and making sure you don't exceed that 465g (935g total weight) weight point.
This is what I was thinking too. I keep looking on Amazon at all these refilling hoses etc and I've got no idea if they fit the UK propane bottles or if our bottles are the same fitting as the US propane bottles. A proper breakdown of the kit used and maybe an affiliate link so we can support the channel as we buy would be great.
Yeah, can you do a Part 2. Am very curious to see if there is a difference in regular airsoft in airsoft green gas, airsoft dry gas and the Coleman refill trick
Interesting to see you do the same thing I do. The the cost difference is incredible. I don't even thing about propane costs anymore, its negligible when you refill the bottles yourself. When I tell people what I do and how much cheaper it is there astonished but for some reason they all complain about the smell.
I’m thinking of moving away from Coleman’s and going to ASG Ultrair as I have no end of issues with filling mags with propane and adaptors. No such issues with the Ultrair bottles. I’ve wasted so much propane just from filling issues. Now with the massively increased costs of Coleman’s/other brands of propane, I just can’t justify buying it 🤷🏻♂️
Yeah its way cheaper here in the US. They cost about 1 for $7 or 4 for $24 and I wouldn't buy them to refill as they're not spec'd for refilling and I wouldn't like having a pipe bomb in my hand or even near me. You can buy a rated bottle of amazon for roughly around 25-35 dependent on size. Remember rules are written in blood.
Thank you @jaeger-precision for the video, it's quite exemplifying and i was craving for info about propane refilling and it's use in airsoft. I'm curious about, if any, differences from green gas filled mags, so, please, post pt.2 soon😅 by the way, i live in Italy and Coleman's cans are very difficult to find (at least, the type you show in video), do you know about other brands suitable for the use?
Hi there,That’s a cool video! It answers my question! I have 4 of them and I can not refill them! How can you explain that? I thought my set up was wrong. Where did you get the one you can refill?
Nice bike by the way I remember you showing you going on a ride with one years ago AHH 07 Mr sheens number if I remember rightly 😆😆😆😆 Excellent way of chilling them by the way Is there going to be a part two ??? Commented before the end hell yes part 2 Keep up with the excellent content 👍
With the ones that dont fill, have you tried opening green lever very slowly. Ive started seeing bottles fitted with device that shut off gas flow if a rapid surge of gas flows through it (purpose of it is meant to stop gas if hose ruptures) but ive seen it get in the way of people refilling
I wonder. Could you fill up your GBBR mags with compressed air? Like a diving bottle can be filled with air, would you not be able, with the correct nozzle, fill your mags like that?
No, these bottles are for LIQUID propane gas (lpg). Trying to fill with air wouldn't work due to the higher pressures necessary to contain gaseous air. Hence why air tanks have psi ratings
no. The way propane/green gas work is that the mag is filled with pressurized and therefore liquid gas. When hitting the output valve some of the liquid gas will escape and transform to a gas. Compressed air does not work this way, it needs way higher compression, like the 3000/4500 psi hpa tanks can withstand. That's why you can fit a hpa hose (connected to a regulator that sets the output pressure to around 80-120psi) to gbb mags: the regulator constantly keeps the pressure in the mag to a set level.
@@TheShamanizer duster for most fields. Some let us use co2 with an hpa adaptor. Most fields will be ok with co2 mags except for the most part those mags are way too expensive.
heck yeah we want part 2 !!

Thisss… these are up that weoght though
This is good, they are a bit cheaper in the USA. At my local Walmart it’s $19 ish for two.
Still a good idea and I will be doing this. Thanks.
Great video. Would love more of a breakdown of the regulator and hose valve etc plz

Definitely part 2!
Did I mention to screw out the valve first? I probably didn’t but you should. Then start drilling.
I can smell your garage from here, thanks for the video brother
Part 2 - yes please!
yup part two please!!
Yes please make the part 2

What about those propylene tanks you had on a bench?

To be honest, this looks sooo risky it’s not worth it.. What about PSI pressures in the refilled containers? It’s basically a giant bomb
Part 2! Please

You could use those yellow mapp gas cans and refill them with propane.
Why not fill from the giant tanks? (Maybe as an additional, depends where you can park at fields)
Your propane adapter do you ship to the US?

Can't find the adaptor on Aliexpress.
Just search propane adapter. I can still see loads on there. You just need the right connectors

@Jaeger-Precision could do with knowing what the right connector is.

You use this on your tm glock? I've asked this question in your tm glock video but you didn't reply 😞
I only use propane in everything I own

Wait, you don't refill your propane and just use one use propane tanks? Yikes
That's an insane amount of money
Too bad we can’t use propane in Japan. Lol
Are you able to use Green, Red and Black gas or are you limited to duster gas only?

Your duds have a one way valve. (anti refill). Just drill it out and you are good to go.
How do you do that?? I’ve got 6 duds! What a waste of money!

dont see the point of running propane when green gas is a thing, plus you're just making your guns run hot for no reason
