Man, I think some of the SMTIV and onwards demon designs were really cool. Whilst I love Kaneko's Odin, the Odin redesign just feels a lot more inspired. Krishna is cool and the National Defense Divinities are all pretty solid. I feel like a lot of backlash was gotten because Kaneko's designs were so familiar for 20+ years
I liked the new Odin approach but still would prefer if he looked a bit more like Odin than Ultraman. Like, why is Atlus so opposed to a bearded Allfather? Also I found it weird that Chemtrail and Minotaur were used as negative examples when I think those rock.
Persona 5 Royal was my first Atlus game and I was immediately hooked on it and it's my first JRPG game. I'm at 32 hours of gameplay now and have been playing it for more than 2 weeks already. I haven't played any Megami Tensei games yet but I would like to try in the future. 😃
