Caroline was a beautiful, handsome woman who could laugh. She was always in a good mood, empathetic and receptive. Her husband, Amyas, was the complete opposite, women, drinking, parties. He lived such a bohemian life..
This needs to be played at a slightly slower tempo. This is a meditative piece, not a marching tune. Almost everybody plays it faster than it should be.
@@OscarGoesToOskar the only one i'm aware of is this one at the beginning of s4e1 of Endeavour: th-cam.com/video/us9satzvQWg/w-d-xo.htmlsi=H2smD8pDFLfFAJj3 another version on YT: th-cam.com/video/8cmzjIkx6b8/w-d-xo.html
Same here! I actually like Ronald Corp’s variation here with the ‘New London Orchestra’ more than the original simple piano composition depending on the mood.. I do hear a French horn definitely though. I’d also love to know what else from someone who’s ear is well versed in orchestral arrangements.

It's an interpretation... Speed is irrelevant when it's yourself playing
