Yes also had fun with this issue although mine just leaks when you top it up, but I had a good look and couldn't find a leak, I couldn't get my tank to move at all - so I'll have another go and try lifting!

Hi Member Mike!! Yep, it's a real mystery, have a look at the pipe that I showed in the video there is another exit which looks to have something inside it, I was wondering if there is some sort of electronic drain about I think it may be too sophisticated. Give the pumps a bit of a wiggle and have a look for any telltale evidence marks of water leaks on the plastic base.
To get the tank out you have to push off that plastic neck of the bottle which is a little stiff, then lift tank up slightly and pull towards you, watch the metal top pipes that are connected still.
Let me know if you have any issues.

I appreciate you posting this even though you didn't find the leak. My user to complain about the fluid being low even though I couldn't get it topped off because of a leak somewhere but it stopped complaining even though tank is empty. I'm not as adventurous as you and haven't tried to find the leak.

@@RayfesM I sealed the little pipe as shown on the video, it's been fine so far now

I had the same problem (not losing water though) took me 4 months to sort it it was the controlling computer in the engine compartment drivers side I had the water bottle out about 3 times replaced pump seal water level sender turned out they where fine. It's a pain to get to but once the module was out I could clean terminals a bit more work was needed but it all worked perfectly but I HATE warning lights messages on.

That's really interesting, I noticed what looked like a separate pipe hole next to the one I thought was loose in the video do you think that's a hole drain? You mentioned that your fault was the controlling computer, was this somehow emptying the bottle? Thanks

I had this on a previous SL and it turned out to be losing the water at the headlamp washer, on the passenger side if I remember correctly.

@@Duhbreh so with the front it's a little different than the rears, as there is a little lip on the hub that can be hard to find hub centric spacers, but I found some and have a combination of 20mm plus 2 separate 3mm spacers so 26mm all in. I just used what I had and the wheel fits nice and flush. I didn't need the spacers for clearance just for the look !
