The mercy that was given was off the charts. Maybe the choice of road( not a main roadway I guess) influenced officers decision. Also the friendly interaction they used was awesome. Not common.
I think alot of cops don't even bother with tickets for street racing if it's a common thing, they just try and scard people away. My cousin used to race 1 place then when they got busted they would just haul ass to the next place and keep racing until they got busted again and then just hop between a few areas😂
I think Midwestern rural cops are usually pretty cool if your a local. Theres also a difference between cops getting a call and having to go check it out vs cops that are eager to hand out as many tickets and impound as many cars as possible.
Take stress out of the clutch! I would put a bigger sprocket, it should help with the launch and prevent the stalling, and maybe you can hit an extra gear in the end of the strip!
"What in the WOOOORLD have we got here? I ain't even mad!" Man you lucked out buddy lol "Why didn't you go for the thousand Jacob?" "I need more money!"
Watching you build these machines is only half the fun; watching you play with them as you envisioned them and learn from them is also pretty cool. Lots of back chatter from YT experts, but we're loyal!
Watching it in slow motion, it looks like that's just the front end moving up, you can see that the longitudinal tubes aren't bending any visible amount. That section of the car is a properly designed truss structure anyways, so it would be incredibly difficult for the car to flex much in that direction without the welds completely failing.
That cop was funny… good cop. “Why is it every time it’s popping off, you’re here?” And the lovely “Did you at least smoke em?” And you didn’t fall for the bait - he goes “my man”. 😊
Bro!! Love the normal videos but this is by far one one of your best!! Love the growth man, you have some super cool builds!!! But cops right hahaha why not the 1000 hahaha or 1300 bored out?
Dude those front tires are really standing up at high speeds, would bet their not rated for the rpm their turning, hate to see one blow off the rim at top speed
I totally forgot about that cross kart. That thing is just amazing. You did an fantastic job building it. I always wanted a cross kart ever since i found out about the: Edge Barracuda, and the Edge Piranha. The Piranha being my favorite(that thing looks like it could outdrive anything. And i totally respect the choice of 4 stroke, transmission and a clutch. But being a 2 stroke guy i am always hoping for a 2 stroke engine possible in the future? Something like a 3 cylinder snowmobile engine with a CVT.
It could be so much quicker when you get some practice slipping the clutch so it doesn't bog the motor down it could be a whole different animal. I can't wait to see it.
Nice blue GTO taking the kart lol . I have the same color, Barbados blue with white stripes. I finally got a new bike so I have a 600 GSX-R motor that I'm planning to put into a go kart frame I have. I've always wanted one of these! Hopefully I'll have it ready for next summer.
Always Jealous when you bust this out. Ahh if only I had the materials. Nothing more frustration then actually having learned how to fabricate and machine, then have no materials to use without cutting up something else lolz...tempting and tragic.! Ahhhhhh!!! So Ill watch you and be almost as happy looking over your build and watching it all work well together. Nice job. Have fun , be safe, always have a way out or a second line in mind when pushing yourself. 🤔😋
Great video. Think you need to run different gearing when at the track as your losing so much rpm on take off which is why its bogging or possibly loosen the shocks, i had similar with my 750cc kart it would roll and keep going but from a dig it would bog or melt the clutch only problem is lower gears means lower top speed. Keep having fun that is what life is about, and street racing is fun but also dangerous this comes from personal experience
Needs a turbo 😂 We built something similar about 15 years ago. Not as nice, definitely a lot scarier, and literally half the suspension 😂 We put a 650 yamaha motor in a back woods built kart frame made from a quads rear axle, and originally quad front suspension. no rear suspension, live axle. Adapted driveline output to chain drive and used a caster as a chain tensioner. WE added an HX35 turbo off a john deere cummins engine and built an oil tank just for the turbo with an electric pump to circulate the oil. Built an intake manifold out of PVC pipes and a soldering iron to plastic weld it together. had a filter on one end of the intake tube manifold tube to prevent overboost and just vent the excess boost as we were really just going for light positive pressure. also ran a tube from the intake manifold to the gas tank to pressurize the gas tank. The butt dyno certainly felt the difference between turbo'd vs non turbo'd. It certainly gained power and had no problem lighting the tires up to 90mph. Worst part is it only had 1 working brake...left front wheel. We named it death trap mark 1. 😂 That thing was stupid fast and scary, but a lot of fun. Don't recommend building one with just 1 brake... We had booze...a welder, a quad and crotch rocket for parts, and a lot of scrap steel... Buddy also worked for John Deere as a diesel equipment mechanic, so we had a few free turbos that were takeoffs from new machines due to blemishes. Seriously though...put a turbo on it lol. hx35's are cheap used out of a wrecking yard...weld up an oil tank, use an electric pump to run it... little pvc pipe from the hardware store with a soldering station to control the soldering iron heat, and weld together a custom intake manifold...only cap off 1 end of the manifold to limit boost pressure to the engine (you don't want to detonate it) a hose to the top of gas tank to pressurize the tank on a carbureted engine to prevent gas pushing back into the tank from boost pressure at the carbs, and she'll rip. bike engines generally take turbos without too much modification, especially if you do the 1 open end with a filter on it to relieve excessive boost pressure. few PSI is more than enough boost to make a world of difference in power without blowing up the motor. They don't generally lean out with boost pressure going to the gas tank as well to help push more fuel to the carbs when under boost.
When you just rolled through the water and run 7.9 you had some wheel speed when you launched try going around the water but leave on a cold tire probably be the way to go
Awesome build 👏👍 I got a 600cc Go kart from a 2001 Honda CBR600 Super wild i can feel my skin coming off my skull. My question is why did you have a hard time taking off on that C8? I put bus length on those but no seriously by all means really cool build my dude 😎👍.
Might need to learn how to ride the clutch in first in order to get the right launch, but im thinking that you could probably shift even faster with the standard motorcycle handlebar and foot shift and break setup instead of the car wheel, pedals and shifter setup
Dude, what gear were you starting in on the track? With a 6 speed you should be able to rotate the earth off the line, and still have enough gear to run through the stripe.
You need to get some wrist restraints like the sprint car drivers use, you don't want to loose a limb should a worst case scenario occur. Lower gearing on the Drag Strip is a no brainer.
that thing is awesome! does it have a dry sump oil system or how does it keep oil pressure when accelerating, those motors aren't designed for those g forces so it must have some dry sump system right?
I'm building something very similar and didn't realize it would be that fast. Pretty crazy. Maybe smaller rear wheels/tires might help you launch better. Those engines don't have much torque so the large tire diameter could be what's bogging you down.
I mean its well over 100hp in what is essentially still just a large kart... 4x more power than the original VW beatle and that could do 55 after a bit of waiting. If it takes around 4x more power to go twice as fast that calculates easily out to 110-120mph maybe faster depending on gearing etc... since its probably lighter than a beetle also.
Where i live in new zealand they would give you a few tickets, or say show us how it goes then pull you over after cant do much here like the song OPM Heaven is a half pipe
This dude got the tanknockoffs!!😂 props for the build but if I would build something like this at least get real TAKATA RACING BELTS! U PLAYING WITH UR LIFE WITH THEM BELTS😢
Id love one of these with a crossplane 09+ R1 engine would sound so much better and make another 70hp+ and more of its power is in the upper range than some 1000s or especially a hayabusa lol. But at least the cops are cool
Do you guys want to see more dragstrip content? And which builds? Rd350, banshee grom, drag quad, mower??
Supercharge the street kart!!! 🫣
Great work ur doing bro
All builds!!
Heck yeah, I want to see more dragstrip action. Race everything.
That was a cool video, from time to time I would like to see you run your vehicles on the drag strip !
Those are the coolest cops dude, no tickets and they loved the kart. "Why didnt ya go for a 1000?"
They even asked him if he raced the freaking Subaru bro.😂😂 You can't smock that beast.🤣🤣
I agree with the why not a 1000cc lol
Tennessee is awesome
@@titanicfilmsbymark except the "wildlife safety officers"
Shoulda done a 1,300

dam yall lucky in Australia you would lose your licence and receive a crazy fine and possible loss your car possible for months @@benthebuilder6934
I liked how he cleverly avoided the trap the cop laid by asking if he at least smoked him and then said cop gives props.
I think Midwestern rural cops are usually pretty cool if your a local. Theres also a difference between cops getting a call and having to go check it out vs cops that are eager to hand out as many tickets and impound as many cars as possible.
Even though you didn't get the results you were looking for it is still a killer cart . You should be proud.
Take stress out of the clutch! I would put a bigger sprocket, it should help with the launch and prevent the stalling, and maybe you can hit an extra gear in the end of the strip!
Love how the cop asked you why you didn't go for the 1000cc😂
"What in the WOOOORLD have we got here? I ain't even mad!" Man you lucked out buddy lol
"Why didn't you go for the thousand Jacob?" "I need more money!"
“Did you at least smoke him” I am so glad you didn’t fall for that lol
I'm impressed the build took the repeated track drag runs! It's a great build. Nice job.
Watching you build these machines is only half the fun; watching you play with them as you envisioned them and learn from them is also pretty cool. Lots of back chatter from YT experts, but we're loyal!
Cool cops and I hope you guys show them respect for being chill
Congrats bro! Love all the vids! No fake bs just a straight up real man
at 9:30 if you watch at .25 speed you can see the whole middle of the cart flexin you might want to stiffen that up so that you don't snap it in half
Watching it in slow motion, it looks like that's just the front end moving up, you can see that the longitudinal tubes aren't bending any visible amount. That section of the car is a properly designed truss structure anyways, so it would be incredibly difficult for the car to flex much in that direction without the welds completely failing.
Man what an eye
"Why is it every time some bullshit's poppin' off you're always here, and you're always here!?" Love how they know some or all in the group.
Once you get more comfortable with launching it I think you should be able to see a 7.5-7.6
doubt it, 7.8 is gonna be about max with that MPH
That thing could use a stutter box. Would make launching much better and easier.
How cool were those cops. The one said "I ain't even mad". They shut it down and were not dicks about it.
It might be a good idea to gear it lower for more torque for the drag strip. It would help with the slow starts and getting up to speed quicker.
That cop was funny… good cop. “Why is it every time it’s popping off, you’re here?” And the lovely “Did you at least smoke em?” And you didn’t fall for the bait - he goes “my man”. 😊
Liking and commenting for the algorithm. More people need to see this and I'd like to see more. It looks like so much fun!
"Legalize wheelies" t-shirt and street racing. You're an awesome role model for kids. hahahaha !! 👀 J/K
ya a good role model for kids till a dumbazz street racing kills him when something brakes of the car and goes out of control

That is how a cop gains respect.
Walk up and say " I'm not even mad." Lol
Sou do brasil e curto muito seus videos apesar da dificuldade do idioma percebo que o amor por velocidade é igual continue assim muito bom seus videos

Used to do shit like this in my rotax 670ho powered oddysey. The cvt makes a world of difference drag racing. Only goes to 85-90 though.
just seen your channel again. first seen you with your scooter build i think 3 yrs ago. youve improved a bunch.
It could be so much quicker when you get some practice slipping the clutch so it doesn't bog the motor down it could be a whole different animal. I can't wait to see it.
Wow super amazing that you have 2 of your engineered platforms up in the 7's!!!!
Wait what??
You have a Hayabusa/Johnny cab and this thing too?!?😮 Awesome👍😎
😂😂 " I aint even mad!" This cop had his lines written and rehearsed 😂😂
Lil Cart Gets it! Need a GSXR 1400 or Busa motor in it! Should be an easy swap. As Always, May God Bless you and yours! 😇
Dont pay attention to the light worry about clutch control so it gets of the line without it bogging so much

more of the drag strip please! when you get the launch under control you will get way better times.

Coolest cops ever! Love your ride!!!
It's too heavy.

i love small town cops, just there for laughs and some shit talk !
he said why everytime some shit is poppin off youre here 😂
"whats in it?"
"gsxr600"
"why didnt you go a thousand?"
fucking died laughing but honestly what ive been thinking from the beginning.
Those were some cool ass cops!
Don't feel bad. It is all research!! You will smoke the clocks when you crunch the data and make any changes you need to make.

Been on the hunt for that engine 🥶 want it for my go kart... so fast

@davecarnevale8017 it's not just for gearing, it's about reducing unsprung weight and rotational mass.
@@Wingnut353 for sure. I just didn't realize I'd be smoking corvettes in a drag race.
Those where some cool cops.
Nice to see the cops let you be "good ole boys" .
Cool cops. The way he said I ain't even mad😂
Got lucky with those cops!!
Imagine a Kawasaki h2 engine in this thing
6:46 is that Boomhauer!?
I need to build somthing like this. It looks so fun.
Awesome drag runs !!!!!
Need to put regular street tires on it like your front tires see what it does
Heavier flywheel!!
The cart is a beast. Sounds like an f1
Cop: So I'm guessing the guy in the Subaru was racing this¿?
Vasily: I didn't race... 😊
Me: Smart man... 😉👍
Slip the clutch on launch !
Those cops were so nice!!! Props to them.
Maybe a little slip of the clutch and not dumping it. It would bog down as bad. Just a thought
You should probably try running drag radials instead of those slicks
1000cc would give you more torque. Is there any way to add a flywheel to increase torque? At least for the launch?
Where i live in new zealand they would give you a few tickets, or say show us how it goes then pull you over after cant do much here like the song OPM Heaven is a half pipe
What type of engine is do you use
Those cops were super cool
7:48 That's a BIG mistake. Your reaction is VERY important.
He's just going for E/T. R/T doesn't matter.
Slip that clutch a bit 🙌
Pretty sure it will do a 7.2 if you leave in a timely manner.

those cops were pretty cool to let you load it up and drive away with no tickets :D
8.3 ain’t bad for your first hit. Put more air in the tires.1/8 mile Right.
You need a little shot of notorious to get off the line and keep that rpm
