My friends and i wouldn't do something that big and complicated with each other, we don't expect that much from each other. Our personal lives are constantly changing, so we are content if we stay connected online, if we get the opportunity to see each other and hang out, that's great, we don't have to blow it out of proportion on situations that would put us in debt, that would end the friendships a lot quicker.
The plaintiff was lying about the defendant though, the text message was very clear: the plaintiff was borrowing money from the defendant yet she was painting her as some thirsty woman chasing after her and forcing herself to pay for her upfront.
