- Sam bought a 1962 Ford F600 after taking a cursory look in the dark. It only cost $200 and we only had to make it about an hour back to his property, what could go wrong?

My 59 Ford f500 came from around Grand Forks N. D. Brought it down to Crystal City TEXAS. Alive and well.

I am thinking of buying a 1960 F600 dump and this is a good primer for my possible adventure. I don't need the truck but think it has good aesthetic value...
I love these trucks and hope someday to get one too they are very inexpensive and I guess some people dont like them I dont know why I think their great

At a price of 70 a ton for scrap cars, it's worth about 350 in scrap. But that would be a darned shame. Please dont do that. And that's comin from a scrapper! I dont scrap cool ones.
seafoam the motor then put lucas oil additive with new oil and it will run alot better. worked wonders on my 62 f350
I've never had much luck with seafoam but I know Sam has given it some love since we picked it up!
That is 110% my Dads old Truck, I dented 1 fender he dented the other. we put the shag carpet in the floor. We sold it at an auction 21 years ago. I learned to drive in that truck.

Dont never start A long time setting engine and use the gas tank. You suck all that varnish and crap thru the fuel system and can even gum up and stick the valves. I wouldnt spend much money on the Y Block Its easy to swap in a FE and will have more power and use less fuel.
This was very much a "zero f*cks given" startup as is Sams style.
In a perfect world we likely would have changed all the fluids and such beforehand as well just so we know everything is good before running it.

That's usually why Sam ends up picking up a new vehicle! He always seems to find really good deals.
My farther bought a 1962 and a 1963 Ford F 600 like that one you have. His green truck like yours had a 312 and it was a 63 and his 62 had a 292. He bought them both brand new.

My 1964 F600 Dump truck cost me 10 times as much, before we could drive it the 130 miles home we needed a battery, accelerator pump, and a rat skeleton removed... check mine out ktcopyguy.... you got a better deal. Great Find!
Sam tends to find great deals. Yours looks like it's in much better shape though!
It's your channel I know, and it's you being yourself expression...but too many swear words and such for me,if I wanted to hear someone swearing I'd tape myself... That I almost got out of my system,but then worked with a guy that every second word as Fu ...I do not seer in front of children though.. maybe you should try thinking of the children that might pick up bad words. And keep your vocabulary cleaned up,I mean the guy that hit his head didn't even swear,you did...and you laughed at his pain. Those are two signs of messed up mind,plus the innuendo is just not why I clicked on ...I like 200$ old vehicles,it's what I drive on,or free!
