Great video. I'm a big fan of your work. Will you be doing any videos where you are actually animating a scene. I would love to see how you get characters to move so smoothly in your work. Thanks
+duronbro Thank you! I can't promise... BUT! I definatly want to make some videos about me drawing / painting / animating or creating in general so people will be able to see and maybe learn some new tricks or just inspired :)
Very cool stuff. I really liked your plastic tool video but this might in the long run prove to be even more practical for certain animations. I think with a combination of all the types you can do some really impressive things. Nice job!
+JJ Parks At first I wanted to add a Tail to the character using the Plastic tool and the rest with bones... but the main idea of this video is to keep it simple and easy to follow so, YEAH! Combine these and you'll get amazing stuff you can animate :)
+Hans Wackershauser The REAL secret is to practice, practice and practice! do some experiments, animate simple shapes and you'll get better and better :)
Great tutorial, got a question how do you save your characters with the skeleton and stuffs like the plastic tool to open the characters again in other scene without re-do that skeleton building again and use them like pupetts? thanx !
+M. Monstre Thanks, I highly suggest you to watch my video about the latest version 1.0.2 so you'll know how to use the Save All and how to load it as well. Hope it helps :)
Is there any way to strength bones lengthways when animating? Let's say if you were boning Tom & Jerry cartoon. How do you stretch their boned bodies to any lengths?
+Rita Geraghty Maybe there is a way to stretch the skeleton bones, I didn't try to mess with it too much, OpenToonz is very new to me I still have much more to discover. If I would animate Tom & Jerry cartoon or any other... I would probably animate Frame-by-Frame with combination of the AMAZING Plastic Tool :)
+Rita Geraghty You can just click the joint in the skeleton you want and stretch it to match. I might take a litter longer than just repositioning per frame, but the program allows for it. :)
I love this so much, you went right to the point and helped a lot! Thanks a lot for this!
Thanks, GOD bless you in Jesus's name !
I am always beautifultastic when I watch one of your vids. Thanks for another great tut

Can't wait to be at this level of confidence with animation. I am currently working with balls to get the idea of how the physics of objects work.
