After watching some other OpenToonz tutorials I always get back to yours!
another easy to follow tutorial keep them coming Dan.
Thanks for another great video tutorial for open toonz Dan!!
Please make more, I'm learning a lot from you.
Thanks Mr Dan! I love watching your open toonz tutorials :))
this is awesome thank you so much
This is fantastic! I wanted to do "cel shading" like with RETAS and didn't know OpenToonz had that option. Now all I want to know is who the crazy person is that gave this video thumbs down (shame on you).
+JJ Parks Glad you find this tutorial helpful! I was thinking about a cel shading tutorial in OpenToonz, because there are many ways to accomplish it... I'll see what I can do whenever I'll have the time, stay tuned. :)
+JJ Parks who ever dislike this video is defiantly jealous of Dan. keep up the good work Dan!
Jasmin Beringer
100%. They obviously follow / subscribe to him too considering they disliked it right immediately after it was posted. Haters Gonna Hate =P.
These videos were pretty useful! I've made a few reeeaaally short animations following this tutorial. Thanks for making these!
I just followed your tutorial and It works perfect!
I'm so happy that you teach these cool stuff Thanks Dan pls make more!
Bless you! I've been using vector and making the vector and changing the swatch alpha to zero. This is more what I've been looking for. It reminds me of Paint Man HD from Retas.
I can't thank you enough for making these videos! They are clear, concise, and very easy to follow for a novice. You're fantastic, keep up the good work!
Thanks for this video. It's very helpful and straightforward. :)
Color markers only work in raster? I tried in vector and it doesn't consider them ""markers". As a matter of fact when I draw line of separation, then fill, then delete the separating line,, my FILL goes away!! What kind of deal is that? Any suggestions.
Thank you for all your videos!
+Jim P Yes, unfortunately this is the case. I had the same exact problem and sure enough it's raster only. I'm trying to come up with a hybrid system that works but haven't figured it out just yet. Good luck!
Love thank for sharing g your talent
I WILL use it thankssss
How often do you animate your characters as raster vs vector?
Would you caution people away from detailed vector characters, backgrounds, and assets?
Thank you
you can also just use the Color_0 color for an invisible line
It's no working out for me. How do I fix this?
Great 🔝🔝🔝🔝
How did you get the fill tool to work on the Raster layer? It wont let me use anything besides the brush tool.
+Hans Wackershauser I'm not sure if this is the problem you're running to but make sure that you're using "Toonz Raster Level" and not "Raster Level" they are different and that may be the reason it limits your tools.
+Mr Dan INSANE that is probably the reason.
Does anyone know how to "Load a Palette". I see an option to save them, but when I work on a new level it goes back to being palette-less. Worst of all, if I try to create a new style in a blank palette, it crashes. Any idea?
+JJ Parks Hehe I just replied to you on the Patreon page with more details.
Here is a short answer for everybody else who interested:
Select the styles (colors) you want and press: Ctrl+C to copy, Then on the new level press: Ctrl+V to paste.
Now you should have all the other colors and you can manipulate them as you wish. I hope it helps :)
+Mr Dan INSANE You really are the best =) I'll go check out the Patreon update as well. Thanks soooooo much!
You're welcome! :)
