  • In this video I’m going to walk you through the chilling case of Sabrina Zunich . What you just heard was the chilling cry of 13-year-old Megan witnessing a horror no child should ever see. Her sister, Sabrina, stabbed their mother, Lisa Knoefel , over 200 times and as the officers apprehended, interrogated, and charged her with murder, one question still remained; why did she do it? To understand whether it was intentional or manipulation, we’re taking you through the case of Sabrina Zunich and what caused her to stage such a massacre in her foster home.

    The father deserves to remain in prison until he dies. He used Sebrina to do his evil deed, while using her to satisfy his sexual needs. An already broken kid. You have to be an evil person to do such a thing. He's as guilty as if he plunged the knife into her. Crazy...

A lady at our church did foster care and she took in an at risk 15 yr old girl, the girl's 18 yr old ex boyfriend broke into the house and stabbed the foster mother in the back. She was in a wheelchair for the rest of her life. This situation is even more horrific both because the lady died and because the worst evil came from inside the home (the husband)

    This case quite possibly steered couples away from adoption. Probably not many, but at least a few. It makes me wonder if adoption agencies keep quiet about issues they've had with a child so parents are more likely to adopt. Not a great analogy, but it's like trying to sell a car, but not telling the new owner that you only change the oil every 20k miles.

      This was a 16 or 17 year old girl when she was placed in the care of this family. Although the video refers to Lisa as her mother, I am not sure how that works in a foster care situation. Sabrina was manipulated by the husband and tragically did what she was enticed to do. By age, she was more an adult than child but by maturity, she never had an opportunity to develop the social awareness to deal with the husband. I am more likely to consider a lesser sentence with some sort of counseling. Once in prison for a day you are in prison for a lifetime. It never escapes you.

      im not saying she is innocent, but shes a victim here as well. it shouldnt steer anybody away from adoption except wives who dont trust their husbands around teenage girls.

    • @Mantuamaker
      @Mantuamaker 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      Very rarely does an adoption, that goes through the foster system, go through any type of special agency. It is ran by the social workers that are in charge of the case. There are only so many details that can be given, and there are many points where their information could be incorrect. Say getting medical information and the doctor has given a poor diagnosis. Now, there are organizations that facilitate adoptions. They create places for families to meet and take many steps in that direction. The social worker is still in charge of the case though and follows all the way until the adoption is finalized or the kid is transferred to a different area for the adoption, then a different caseworker takes over. This is just one of the reason the case loads are so much.
      I know this all first hand, as I went through the system and was adopted out. My siblings all had issues due to what we went through. The caseworker did what she could with the information she had. Unfortunately a lot was missing and we had things like a country dentist who, through ok for the job, said things like we wouldn’t need braces without even having all our adult teeth in yet. Our caseworker denied certain abuses happened to us, but really she wouldn’t have know it all since we did not open up to all that happened. Lastly, there were lots a psychological issues that were being treated to a point, but we all needed years of more treatment and in some cases still do. At least that was covered by the state.

    I feel so sorry for that kid. What a terrible life she had as a child. She finally gets a decent foster family, only to end up with a pedo who grooms her. So now she's got stockholm syndrome, she thinks that the relationship she had with her pedo abuser foster father is love, because that's probably the only time in her life this poor kid has ever felt an ounce of affection or closeness from another adult. That man used her not only to fulfill his sick pedol desires, but he used her along with her mental instability, past, and trauma, to convince her to murder his wife. He lied to her about the severity of the crime/sentence, how much time she would get, and he told her that after she got out of prison they would be together. Promised to visit and keep in touch and make sure she was taken care of while being in jail. He should have got LIFE in prison. And they should have also charged him for the grooming and sexual assault of a minor! That girl was only 14 when the abuse started. She was literally manipulated and groomed for YEARS by that man! He was clearly the mastermind of this whole murder, and it is a shame what happened to his wife and to the girl. If she had not been placed into that home, and actually had a foster family who cared about her and showed her the love of a parent she never got, who knows how different her life might've turned out.

This is not an evil girl, this was a trouble traumatized vulnerable girl who was manipulated by a sick man!! That’s not excusing what she did- there’s a difference between making an excuse, and giving an explanation behind something… she has to be held accountable, of course- but I can not help but feel empathy for her. @@Scummy_shovel YES! He groomed & “graped” her! He had her mind so twisted- to her, they were in an actual relationship…. But she was a child, he was a grown man- in a position of authority- and was suppose to be a father to her!!! But instead of giving her the father she longed for and desperately NEEDED- he brainwashed her & groomed her & took advantage of her..
      all that girl ever wanted was some sense of normalcy. She desperately craved a family.. & his sick ass twisted her head all up- and she started to believe they were in love.. he told her he loved her, told her things like they were gonna be a family- if only his wife wasn’t around.. told her he saw her as a mother figure to his little girl, whom she loved very much .. so she began mimicking and taking on that role- trying to be what she thought he wanted her to be.. she started seeing herself & imaging herself as his wife- imagining them being a family with his daughter. It was very twisted!
      And it’s easy for outsiders to see her as this evil girl. It’s easy looking in seeing this as lile “oh they took this girl in & she was evil,& look what she did”.. but when you peel back the layers & have a clearer picture, and when you understand psychology & how the mind works- especially for a youth who’s been through trauma & all this instability, and understand how easily their minds can be shaped & twisted by sick people like him- then you realize as messed up as what she did is, she IS also a victim in this!
      That disgusting human being is the evil here! None of this would have happened had it not been for him! Had he actually been a father figure to her like he was suppose to- I mean; remember they were suppose to adopt this girl! She was meant to be their daughter! He acted like the perfect man, the perfect loving husband & father- he took a vulnerable girl and used her for his own sick pleasure and his own gain to rid himself of his wife…

I could never do something like that even when under the circumstances she was under. This is a person who was born already capable of bad things, who was dealt a bad hand in life. I wonder if the mom knew her husband was sleeping with the adopted daughter. How can a grown woman miss something like this in her own house? Maybe that is why she treated the kids differently. Because she knew. One will never know now.
    Advice : Don't allow your teenage daughters to massage grown men. Any man. If he has cramps , then you massage him or go to a professional. Because that is when ideas pop into your head and when you sexually intimate with anyone else besides your wife. Ofcoz, there will be a change in your marriage, and suddenly, you'll have problems, or your tolerance of existing issues will be low. And then, from an innocent massage , plotting a death is happening.

      In defense of the good ones, I knew a man when I was 18. He was my manager. I met his wife too. He was very fatherly and his wife was a no nonsense type character but very kind. He one day showed me a picture of one of their family gatherings. Very proudly. There was him, his wife, their biological kids, and about 20 Foster kids they'd had over the years plus all of their children. I never knew he had fostered any more than 2 before i saw that picture. He never bragged. They considered the children of their Foster kids as their own grandchildren. He tried to set me up with his son for a while. He also had a modest home etc. So luckily there are good ones.
      I think he and his wife were very rare people.
