Wendi tries her best to put on a show, but as the detectives uncover the truth about what happened, they will begin to realize that the burglary gone wrong was actually a perfectly planned hit job.

Depends on the music but generally dramatic beats aren't the best, I personally listen to a lot of this stuff while biking, music while you speak, not while anything involving the case maybe? It gives it that clickbaity, TH-cam view hunting vibe which can probably push people away. The humming was a bit offputting while the case info was being told I really can't put my finger on why sorry. I hope this helps a bit, you do have good taste in background music for what it's worth

Yeah!!! They are far from perfect and make mistakes, PROBLEM is when they cover up for each other by lying about certain events/circumstances, to do with the fabricated case, then it gets hard/impossible to show that you are innocent, as it's documented by half a dozen corrupt popo sticking to their story. It's neigh on impossible to plead your case in front of a jju dggee!. Where I am in the flaming world it's gone legally insane.... It's as if they really do have an age n da, to 'lock up' indidgenouse peoples, for the smallest thing, which doesn't have make sense. Some say 'it's soft or quiet ar rest?, turning into a massive & expensive cort case where you can hardly even manage elab. THERE WILL BE NO TURNING BACK, FROM THIS ONE! too many la wss have been added to the popo startin frum that 'shotthot lokdwn'... There is no other alternat ive, besides diing or liaj/ Pen, which has been enlarged in plane site. this sux & please prove me wrong!, so that i might get some sleep.🙃🤔 Take care

Mom is in jail awaiting trial and everybody that's been following the aftermath of Dan's murder is chomping at the bit to see Wendy end up like her brother or even mother. Both murderers and the woman that found the murderers for the Adelsons are all in prison for the rest of their lives. Wendy, you're next. Protecting her own lovely Charlie and Wendi. They go after the mom, because trying to flee to Vietnam. And Charlie said in coffeeshop: "mom didn't tell dad". So mom knew. Mom was writing the exgirlfriend of the son checks. Amounts of 407.58 dollars. But can also be for cleaning or whatever. Just doing what sweet crazy son Charlie tells her to do....
Didn't hear anything about life insurances on Dan.

@@emceesupremejusticeif you get some kind of empathy burnout from your job, and can no longer show people compassion in their worst moments, you should take a break.
The job of a dispatcher is to connect someone to emergency services, and also to keep people calm so that they can get as much information as possible to facilitate the transfer of information.
I have heard COUNTLESS dispatchers being disrespectful, impatient, rude, and interrupting the caller, shutting them down.
Of course people can respond to the repeated exposure to trauma in a variety of ways...but acknowledging and recognizing that you're no longer able to be helpful to people calling for help in their most desperate moments, and giving that responsibility to someone else while you take care of yourself, is important.
You need to be able to recognize when your capacity to do the job you were hired to do is lowered. It's like saying a firefighter is justified in not going into a house to save someone because they've been burned or hurt on the job, but still being employed and paid to go out to the scene and just watch the situation happen.
If you can't fulfill your duties, you need to step away. For the sake of the mental health of the dispatcher, and anyone calling in needing their services.

Guys, the ambulance is always sent immediately after an address is given. The 911 operators are trained to keep the caller on the line by asking all kinds of questions. The stupid part is that they aren't trained to tell the caller that the ambulance is already on the way and that they just need to stay on the line. That would easily solve the confusion problem.

That's not the case. They just aren't communicating properly.
...but I have heard some really messed up 911 operators. I remember this one lady was trapped in a sinking car during a flood and as she was drowning, the 911 operator was basically lecturing the victim about what an idiot she was for being in that situation. Absolutely crazy!

Retired law enf here: I spent some time as a lead investigator, amongst other things in my career. Most of us became proficient in reading people very well. I’m not going to break all this down and call myself a ‘body language expert’. (Whatever that is…🙄) But I will say there’s a lot of red flags with this one from the word go. For example, you can kinda tell when someone’s heartbeat doesn’t match their breathing. She’s breathing like she’s freaking out. Because, she thinks her audience needs to see that.
Also, only after they get into it does she put ‘the voice’ on. You can tell when someone has been crying over something for real. They don’t sound like themselves. She puts this ‘cry voice’ on straight away.
She’s also what we’d call ‘well rehearsed demeanour’.
Typically, when something tragic happens - detail is hard to get. It’s hard to focus past the impact of tragedy. It’s hard to get a lot out of living witnesses. Notice how little the detective talks, vs how much she talks?
She really overthought this whole thing.
She also deflects fairly quickly. Implying blame in a direction away from her.
    Just my thoughts.

Dude was saying she did it to herself and that he is the victim. The other guys with me wanted to hook the guy right off the bat, but something didn't sit right with me. I was the one to make the call since it was my call. I started asking her more questions and her story kept changing. Then she tried to show me her marks and how he grabbed her. When she grabbed her arms I saw the marks matched up with her own hands. After more questions, she finally admitted the whole deal. I arrested her for DV as well as false report. That dude was so grateful. I saw him a couple times later at the store. He always bought me a soda and stuff for saving his life in the fact that he didn't go to jail. After that night, the guys with me never just took the woman's story as fact. Some ladies are scandalous.

It’s obvious Dan’s arrival home was known by the perps and also explains why she just happened to be driving by shortly afterwards. (Knowing the hit would have had just occurred. Such a freak narcissist, she actually needed to drive by to see the garage still open and her ex sitting dead in his car… seriously sick family! This woman is going down biggly along with her brother, AND her mom… pops hs the only chance to remain free imo…

She had the kid’s name changed before the murder. The hatred was in her and she couldn’t help herself lol what a fool. Lol she had to ride by the house 🤣 she’s a terrible actress anyway. Let the brother sit in prison and heat on mom now and she still not coming forward. What a pos. Let everyone simmer and they’ll get her. Gotta let tht prison time sink in even though right now they think they can still get out by being quiet. Brother figures what’s the difference in 30 years and life at middle age. Let the cake bake and carry on

I have seen a couple deep dives into this case, covering every single little detail of Wendi and Daniel's marriage, their respective families, the perpetrators' backgrounds, etc., etc. And while I normally do appreciate multi-part coverage of entangled cases, sometimes it's easy to lose your focus, trying to keep track of all the people and events involved.
You did a great job nut-shelling (if that's a word :) this case, presenting it very clearly, without veering too far off the main story line. Kudos from a new subscriber! :)

SO many women would love to be with an amazing guy like this. Family man, great career, well liked, etc. Yet this witch just has him blown away because she didn't want to share her boys with a good father that loved them. I hope she goes to prison soon and suffers greatly there. She took a good father away from 2 innocent boys.

You say this, but you have no idea about how the father was. You feel bad for him because he was killed. He could've been abusive, threatening or even violent. You have no idea. Do you think she just woke up one morning and decided to uproot her life, fleeing with the kids to her family? That doesn't happen without cause.
