Our History
Fritz Aquatics is a specialty brand of aquarium products manufactured by Fritz Industries, which was founded in 1956 by C. Fredrick “Fritz” Weisend. In the early years, Fritz Industries emerged as a research leader in the development of products based on applied chemistry and unique manufacturing processes, leading to the establishment of the pet products division.
The Fritz Pet Products Division began in the early 1970s with the manufacturing of all-glass aquariums and processing aquarium gravel. Today, the specialty division manufactures hundreds of pet products with an emphasis on the aquatics market, developing innovative products such as FritzZyme 7 & 9, TurboStart and FritzGuard. The Fritz Aquatics line is marketed to major distributors and pet retailers throughout the U.S. and internationally.
Fritz Aquatics also manufactures products for large aquatic facilities, zoos and the largest public aquariums in the world. In 2014, Fritz Aquatics secured an exclusive royalty agreement with Sergeant’s Pet Care Products, Inc. for their Mardel and Aquarium Product lines.

Been a lifelong visitor of KC, so proud of their efforts over the past 20 years to level up the quality of everything they do. The aquarium may not be for coral lovers but it is phenomenal to get people who may have never seen the ocean (we’re in the Midwest after all) excited for what’s out there. Enjoying these aquarium tours! I do want to say that i've just started using Fritz products as I just recently got back into the hobby! A great aquarium from the looks of it. As in most public aquariums, it is Not geared for the aquarium hobbyist though. I'd like to see the Shedd Aquarium, as I have seen almost all of the major aquariums in the US, except this one and the Shedd.
We will keep showing them off as we visit!

It would be great if you could pay to take a virtual tour from anywhere in the world using some kind of robot with a high resolution 360 degree camera to see with VR and you could operate the robot from the comfort of your home until you finish the tour. the aquarium

Well you did think the upsidedown jellyfish were super poisonous so i think i can keep a clown tang in my 15 gallon. 😎😉😆

If you eat them and they’re toxic, they’re poisonous
A bit extreme on some of the don’t have this in a home aquarium comments. And 500 gallon minimum for a clown tang is a bit extreme. Mine is fine in my 250.
I completely understand, some acclimate differently and it depends on the length of the 250 gallons. Clown Tangs from my experience like a longer aquarium. I’ll make sure I clarify it more as preference from my perspective. Thanks for your feedback!
I love it when people tell experts who work with these animals constantly chime in to say "you're wrong, mine is doing just fine in sub-par conditions so it must be alright".
