Cool place. My opinion is that anyone deep enough into reef knowledge will never understand the nonsense that is evolution. If you do, you simply have stopped looking for answers and have accepted what someone told you.

Have you had to treat a guppy tank with expel p or general cure? Do you quarantine 1 fish or treat the whole tank? What is the most common ailment you have in your guppy tanks and what did you do for it?

I am surprised he doesn't cover his tubs with netting to keep the dragon flies out and other larger predatory insects. does he have issues with birds wanting to snack on his fish also? Shade cloth could be pretty helpful too when it is getting really hot.

I would love to see this room in person someday. I picked up those synodontis from Lucas at Aquashella this year. Just moved them into my 230 gallon this week. They are some of my favorite to watch. Highly recommend them from Lucas!

Easy way to distinguish Alvis is that they have only 12 tentacles per polyp. Bernards and Gonis have 24. Bernard colonies have short polyps with a few long polyps that are sweeping for competitors. Gonis have uniformly long polyps. Cheers, Chris

Yeah, I never got into coral. My mate went hard then a coral war broke out. He spent a lot but ended up with one menace coral left

thats a hellgramite or dobsonfly larva actually a sign of really good water quality it is definetly a predator tho
